“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2012

We stayed at Liki Tiki for two weeks over Easter. We had two two bedroom apartments as there was twelve of us. We were very impressed with the accomadation, it had everything we needed and was incredibly spacious. Staff at Liki Tiki were polite and helpful. We stayed in the 500 block which had a lovely swimming pool outside it, this pool also had BBQ's which we used and this pool was quiet and relaxing compared to the waterpark. We paid the reasonable resort fee and enjoyed fishing, boats, tennis, bikes and wi-fi. The fee was about £4 a day per apartment. It is close to parks (20 mins) The grounds are fantastic and we would certainly return. No complaints and would recommend to everyone. It is difficult to find look for big titanic board of 192 after marker 4.

We visited the Liki Tiki Village in April 2012 and I wasn't sure what to expect, as last year we stayed in another "condo type" hotel and it was horrible, old, gross, etc. Anyway, this place blew the old one away.

We stayed in Building 1100, as I'd read on your website the buildings 1000 and up are the newer buildings. They were not right next to any pools, but there was only a small walk-- basically across the parking lot to the large water area. Our "room" was great--the furniture seemed new, the kitchen was great and bedroom was nicely furnished. Also the carpet was fine, as that was one of my main concerns. The waterpark area was great for my 5 year old, plenty of slides, volleyball and such. He wanted to go all the time. We tried one of the other pools and it was fine too--one good thing is that the pools were warm, not ice cold. We didn't use housekeeping, just washed the towels in the washer/dryer. The price was very good when we booked too. We didn't have time to do the paddleboats, surry bikes or mini golf, so I can't review that but we saw people doing all 3 and it looked fun. We didn't try the pool restaurant, but it seemed to be very busy. There was plenty of parking--we never had to park far from the elevator. The security people were very nice, and it was nice to have security when entering the area. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was only a small amount of noise coming from the adjoining rooms. We only heard them twice.

Here are just a few small, MINOR things that come to mind: the kitchen floor was kind of sticky. This wasn't a huge deal, as I wore my flip flops a lot and had my son wear socks, as I usually do when staying at a hotel. Also, the waterpark closes too early for us--if you are out doing anything that day, it is hard to get back and get in before they close. We didn't have any type of bug problem except one day I left something out that wasn't completely closed up (MY FAULT), it had small ants in the box. We just threw it away and I never saw another ant. The front desk people were very nice, but they didn't seem to have enough staff to cover the guests and the constantly ringing phone. Lastly, the washer/dryer is TINY--you can wash about 4 things in a load. I'm not complaining, mind you, as it is very nice to even have one to begin with.

The pro's really outweighed the con's by a mile at this place. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the place to any friends/family (especially with children) that are going to Florida. Oh, if you use the jets in the tub, there is an automatic cleaner/blower that makes the jets come on a few times after you get out. It is pretty loud with no water in the tub. Just FYI....

Room Tip: Ask to be placed in a room that is 1000 or over if you are like me. I didn't mind the tiny walk...

Let me start by saying we were a group of 90 travelling from Louisiana for a high school band, choir, flag corp competition. When planning this trip, we wanted something more than a run of a mill hotel. The first resort we had booked fell through(they rented our condos out from under us, even with a signed contract)..this was the best thing to happen to us, since we ended up here. Pamela in central reservations had the monumental task of finding 21 units close together for 2 nights...she really went above and beyond and got us in buildings 700, 800, 1000, 1100, and 1200. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Not once whil we were there did I ever see one piece of trash, and every employee we met was over the top friendly. I, honestly, don't know where these negative comments come from...I was impressed with everything about this resort.
My condo was in the 1200 building and was absolutely spotless and gorgeous! Loved the jacuzzi bath, and the proximity to the waterpark was great. Speaking of the waterpark...our high schoolers loved it! The main waterpark was slightly heated, making it especially enjoyable. The zero entry pool was very convenient for the little ones in the group. We all enjoyed rounds and rounds of min golf and paddle boats.
Ron, at Shipwreck Sally's was a joy to work with. We arranged for him to cater a pool party for lunch that included grilled hamburgers, pizza, fries, salad, and drinks. the kids loved being able to eat and then play in the water some more. Once again, all the employees were so nice and helpful. That night, we had the same location for the all you can eat fried fish. It was a rainy night, so not many people were there...no worries, the DJ cranked up the music and karoke. Our group practically took over the stage...dancing, singing, and loving every minute!
We were so happy with this resort, and several of our parent chaperones have expressed their desire to stay there on their next trip to Orlando. The next band trip our school trip we take, you can count on us staying here again!

Room Tip: If you want the closest to the water park, choose choose 700, 800, or 900. For townhouses closes to...

We had a 2 bedroom condo. There were 5 of us. It was very spacious fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. The property itself is nicely maintained and the pool areas are clean and not overly crowded. Check in is at 4 but they had our room ready by 3. There is a very close grocery store. The unit could have been cleaner. It was surface cleaned but needs a deep cleaning ie. tile scrubbed and Carpets steamed, but all and all the price per night was wonderful for what we got. I would recommend to all my friends.

Families with young children will enjoy the resort styled childrens activity pool area with water slides paddle boats mini golf and more. Dad and mom can have a beer and cocktail while the kids frolic. The food is passable at the bar. They want to keep you happy with entertainment such as a family fun DJ or Bingo. The pool area is well staffed with Lifeguards that enforce pool rules.Liki Tiki is busy with Maintenance people Maids and other staff. It is a Timeshare...you will be asked to participate in a 90 min sales spiel...we did, for discounted Dizzney, Sea World and Legoland ticket sand a $50 food voucher at the pool bar. We've been to a lot of these sales pitches and this, though it did last a bit more than 90 min. was bearable...no extreme pressure was applied. The one Bedroom "condo unit" was servicable with very thin walls between units. You'll get to know the people next to you. A good location away from International Dr. but close to maingate Dizzney. Average is what this place is about, but a good family refuge from the hustle of Orlando. We did one day Parks, one day Liki Tiki to recharge the batteries.

Room Tip: If you can afford the extra $$ go for a two bedroom unit.
