Just returned from a weeks stay at Orbit One Vacation Villas. This was our second time here and we really enjoyed our stay. The property was in great shape for an older time share resort. Each unit is 2 bedrooms with full kitchen and washer/dryer. The bathrooms have been redone, and the master bath was very nice. HD tv in the living room, and smaller tv's in the bedrooms. Channel selection was decent including HBO. You could get wireless access (charge) for the day or week.

Our room was in the Saturn Building which is located by the quite pool, away from Highway 192. We were on the first floor and didn't experience any noise from the neighbors. You could walk out from the screened porch to the pool. Only negative was a bug or 2 decided to check the room out during our stay.

One of the best things about this place is the location. You're literally only need to cross over Hwy. 192 to get to Disney s Animal Kingdom (about a mile or 2), and the rest of the Disney Resort. The smaller villa size and gated security was a plus. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Plenty of restaurants, Dunkin Donuts and grocery stores are close by.

Overall, she may not look like much on the outside, but the rooms were in good shape and very clean.

Room Tip: Saturn or Venus buildings are in a more quite area of the resort. Choose first floor if you want eas...

Stayed at Orbit One in December 2010 it was a good size apartment, clean with all the equippment you would need for a self catering holiday. The resort is a good size with all apartments having parking nearby. The reception staff are lovely and cater for all your needs. Lots of tourist information can be found in reception to help you decide what you can do whilst on holiday. The beds are comfortable with a TV in every room, additional sleeping for two also in the lounge area on a pull out sofa bed. Many restaurants within a short drive away and two lovely clean swimming pools on site too. I would stay here again.

We just came back from 10 wonderful days at Orbit One. It was our second trip there this year, having been there in February for the first time. Once again we totally satisfied. They have everything needed for a quiet relaxing vacation. The resort is big enough to offer the things you want yet small enough to keep that personal touch that's so important. The 2 bedroom units have all the items required. The screened in porch on all units is a definite bonus. Our daughter and 8 year grand daughter had a great time in both pools. The staff is A -1 starting with Jasmine and the front desk staff to Hector and the maintenance crew and lets not forget smiling Jack and his security crew on the front gate. We have only been home and already are planning our next vacation at Orbit One. If you go I promise you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: If you have children the Neptune building might not be a good choice due to it's distance from t...

Like many visitors, after reading the comments that the place is dated, i was thinking it would be worn and in need of refurbishing. From the condition of the unit we were in, i think it's the style that makes the place look dated - peach and sea foam green painted walls (appeared freshly painted too), rattan furniture, tropical print cushions and curtains, dining table with glass table top. Everything was clean and for the most part in good working order (issue with light in master bedroom). The grounds and the pools are clean too. There are many activities on the grounds to enjoy like basketball, tennis, volley ball, putting green, shuffle board. There's also a game room. We had an end unit in the Saturn building on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators. This wasn't an issue for us but could be for some folks. However, what was an issue is the vaulted ceilings in the master bedroom with the 6 windows on the high part of the wall. There are no blinds or curtains. It wasn't a problem for me, but for my husband, it was an issue. He was up at sunrise every morning. If you are headed to the Disney's Animal Kingdom - do not make right onto Route 192. Instead, at the light, go straight and that road takes you there without the 192 traffic mess. Of course, check out mapquest before you do just in case I don't recall a turn or two. Enjoy your stay.

Room Tip: If you need a dark room to sleep, do not get 3rd floor unit.

I spent a week long late summer vacation at Orbit One and I felt as though I had found a hidden gem. The resort doesn't sit directly on the main street, so it may not attract the most street traffic, but it definitely makes for a quiet stay without any street noise!

That being said, I stayed at a time when landscaping and construction werebeing done around the parking areas, and unfortunately, much of the work was being done at night! This meant that two of the five nights spent at Orbit One were very noisy which didn't allow for very much sleep. When this was brought to the attention of guest services, it wasn't met with very much empathy or understanding, which left a bit of a damper on my stay.

However, for one of the more popular places to stay in the area, the value was fantastic and we were very close to several restaurants, shops, and all the major theme parks.

The beds were all very comfortable and I loved the fact that our villa had so many windows to let in tons of natural sunlight. It made for a very bright, comfortable atmosphere.
