We had 8 night here in January for a family vacation. Traveling with a 6yr old, 20month baby parents and mother in law we needed space and the lighthouse was perfect. We had a 4bedroom apartment and it was brilliant. Wifi was great, kitchen facilities perfect, and could not fault the room at all. Staff are a little inconsistent in service but overall not a big problem.

Great to have shuttle service to parks and drivers were very good giving plenty of tips and being very flexible on returning back to hotel.

We would definitely return to Lighthouse Key and highly recommend it for families wanting plenty of space

We had a three bedroom unit. Room 1303. It was GREAT! There are two master suites and a bedroom with two twin beds for our two boys. The kitchen is great as is the living area. If you want a residential unit about 5 miles from the Magic Kingdom you should consider this property.

Room Tip: Three bedroom Unit 1303

This hotel is 4 miles from Magic Kingdom and very conveniently located to everything we needed. We were traveling with a 14 month old and a 9 yr old. This hotel offered a washer and dryer which was wonderful. Also they had a fully stocked kitchen which was nice to have the refrigerator and microwave for the bottles. We also had reserved a crib which was already set up when we arrived. The pool and heated spa was awesome with a bar and deli right there. My 9 yr old couldn't wait to leave disney and come back to swim, play video games and on the pool table. They have a huge business center as well. Free coffee in the lobby every morning. Staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay was perfect. They also had several recycling bins available. It was much like a furnished 2 bedroom apartment, but nicer. We will be staying there for sure next time. It was lovely to come back after a day at the park to a quiet hotel. The restaurant right across the street, Houllihans was fabulous as well. If you wanted to park it for the night, you can't go wrong with the pizza at the on site Deli. Yum! Staff was amazing! Grounds keepers were working all the time and it showed. The place was extremely clean. Since our stay was 5 nights, it included 1 day of housekeeping which was perfect. They replaced the laundry detergent, towels and toiletries. Can't wait to stay here again. And I consider myself picky because we travel so much. LOVED LIGHTHOUSE KEY!!

Room Tip: Stayed on the third floor overlooking the pool so I could see family swimming.

Spent 6 days in a four bedroom condo with 8 people and although the room was nice and spacious, cleaning of the room was average with used tissues and band aids lying around and stains on some of the sheets. Worst of all on our midweek clean our iPad was stolen from our room. This is the part that was really annoying, staff, especially management were not compassionate at all and did not seem to care that something was stolen from our room. Would not recommend this resort at alldue to the lack of customer service.

Dear Gordon B,

I would like to express our apologies about the missing IPad from your condo during your stay. The findings have been reported to the local police department who is investigating the situation and hopefully the item may be recovered. In regards to the cleanliness of the condo during your stay, this is not typical of our cleanliness standards and is very disappointing. We pride ourselves on our resort and its offerings and again my sincere apologies for the inconveniences you experienced.

Spent 12 nights here in January on a family holiday with the teenagers. The apartments are big, clean and well appointed. We didn't spend much time in at as we were always at the parks. Quiet, good size rooms, with a full laundry and kitchen. Other facilities at the resort were good.
The location is good with no park more than 15 minutes and most 10 minutes. Price is great compared to staying at the parks and more than paid for the hire car. There is a shuttle too but it gets you to the parks a bit late.
Only negative was the service. In particular it took us about 4 days to get shower heads fixed that were calcified. They just didn't follow through and hand offs were poor.

Room Tip: Not a big issue but we stayed in the apartment closest to reception on level 5. This was quiet and had views of the fireworks and golf course.
