We were so surprised to get an email, a week after our stay, on a Friday afternoon at 4:45 stating that we were being charged $125.00 for a broken lamp, two stained towels and scuff marks. When I pointed out to them that the broken lamp was not even in our condo (looked at the website photos to confirm) they then adjusted the price to $75.00 and admitted that they made a mistake. The stained towel was already stained when I first used it. We took our shoes off by the door every night when we returned. I tried to call and talk to them about this but they would not answer or return the call. hence, I am stating my case here. Also the smoke detector was going off when we arrived and we had to go purchase batteries. The condo was nice and we enjoyed our stay, but feel like we are being taken advantage of.
