This is some superb, highly creative restaurant. The first evening, I had what the waiter described as "briefly" fried whole snapper -- and it was some experience! It didn't taste like fried food. Nor was there a bone to be found. It was soft, tasty, among the finest pieces of fish I've ever eaten. I had the calamari appetizer, too. The best I've ever had -- tender, perfectly cooked. This was the first time we had ever been to one of Sarabeth's restaurants -- even though we live near Manhattan. So inventive So good! We returned for a second dinner, and then for lunch. It is a treasure of a restaurant in Key West -- and I suspect wherever there is another Sarabeth's. But make sure you make a reservation early. This cozy, comfortable restaurant with a fine, friendly staff is clearly known as great -- when we tried to make a dinner reservation the first time, it was booked for dinner. So we made it for the next night -- and was it worth it!
