I recently stayed in the Bird of Paradise room in the mansion. It was cute and clean. The cottages and townhouses looked really nice too. We used 2 of the 4 pools which were clean and quaint. We rented bikes and also walked all over town and the location is perfect and quiet, just a block behind Duval street. The most wonderful point about Simonton Inn is the friendly staff. Every single person we encountered from the desk to housekeeping and breakfast servers were so nice and friendly and conversational. They made sure everyone was having a good time and always asked how our day was going. I'd stay here again for sure.

Found the place by calling the Key West info center. Was expecting an astronomically high price, turned out to be very reasonable for the time of year.
Immaculately clean, impeccable service and friendly people.
Right in the middle of downtown however quiet and relaxing, a 2 minute stroll from Duval St.
Will certainly come back, best place I've stayed in the area in 5 years I've visited the Keys.

Room Tip: don't think they have a fitness center or room service so no rating accordingly

Grounds are beautiful and everyone on staff made an effort to make sure our stay was what we were hoping for. From booking the room, to our reception when we arrived, to the staff refilling coffee cups during breakfast the staff was attentive to our needs. Would have given an excellent rating except the breakfast probably could be stepped up just a notch to rate an excellent. There was fresh fruit and juices, coffee, yogurt, hard boiled eggs but the only items served hot were toaster friendly items like waffles and bagels that required you to wait your turn while the attendant prepared it for you. Just a couple of other options like muffins or danish would have helped. Our room was quaint and the 4 pools make for a more private atmosphere with not everyone crowded around one pool. You're within walking distance of Old Town and anything you want to do there. Would definitely stay there again.

I can't imagine vacationing in Key West and not staying at the Simonton!
Over the years we have stayed in just about every type of room they have to offer. You're bound to find the right fit for you. As soon as you walk through the flowered archway you're in paradise. Simonton is so close to downtown and the wharf but you feel like you're miles away in a quiet tropical paradise. They offer a lovely breakfast each morning by the main pool. Love this place! My only disappointment was that they no longer offer the Key West Aloe toiletries in the room.

My boyfriend and I just got back from a romantic weekend in key west and I have to say that staying at Simonton Court was a huge part of our amazing weekend. It is perfect. Each of the rooms are decorated different and the hotel is beautiful and quite lovely. From the beginning when I called to book the reservation, Ben went out of his way to navigate me through their website and answer any questions I had about the various rooms. The location of the hotel is superb and is a block from Duval. Everyone was so kind and accomodating and I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. The complementary reakfast was great and I look forward to many more stays at this lovely hotel. Thanks again to Will, Steven and Ben for making our weekend so great! We will be back soon...

Room Tip: We stayed in the bougainvillea room and it had an upstairs loft and was perfect. It had a private se...
