This was our second visit in four months. I have a highly biased, favorable opinion of the place. A lot has been said about the location, which can not be beat. The amenities are what you would expect from a bed and breakfast. The intangible is the host Steve. One can not ask for a better host. His sensual and animated reading of a restaurant menu during happy hour created a memory that Bill, Carol, Bob, Vicky, Mary and I will never forget. Thank you my friend for the wonderful time. We will return as often as we possibly can.

Upon check in, three hours early due to flight, we were greeted by Steve and welcomed to the traditional Key West Mansion guest house. Steve toured the property with us showing the many easy amenities, such as the honor system of beverage service and showed us to our suite for the weekend. Our room was well appointed for a Key West B&B. The breakfast service was exceptional for a B & B, and the porch area was exactly how you would anticipate a lazy vacation day to begin.
The pool area was easy access from any room and had enough comfort features, chairs, rafts and shade for when you wanted a break from the sun.
After a long day of relaxation and getting acquainted with other guests of the mansion, you have the option of a complimentary "happy hour" served by none other than our gracious host,"Steve". What a way to start off the evening before heading out to the best sunset.

We spent another 6 nights are Marrero’s, and had another GREAT stay at our home away from home in Paradise. Steve is now in charge, and he has managed to improve on what we considered the perfect B&B. Nice continental breakfast from 8-10:30am. A happy hour from 5:30-6:30 each evening. We stayed in Room #12 this time. Separate from the mansion itself, and right by the clothing optional pool. They had just replaced the air conditioner the day we arrived. You can’t even hear it run. Honor bar by the pool, as well as an ice machine there. The nice thing about Marrero’s is the people. We have met MANY wonderful folks there from all over the US and world. We’ll never stay anyplace else in Key West, unless, of course, they are all booked up!

Second time the wife and I have stayed here. Steve has taken over for John and nothing has changed. Location, pool, service, frendliness, all is still great.

Second visit to this B&B and well worth the repeat. Clean, well run, attentive staff (new housekeeping staff is a BIG improvement), no complaints. If you are an AANR member and view "CO" as "naturist" here is is what it says-- clothing is optional, some do and some don't. We had one possible lurker, but mostly well intentioned people. Age range is mature and considerate. You are in the heart of Key West, but apart as well.
