We went on the glass bottomed boat on a lark, and are very pleased we did! The day was overcast but warm, and the 1/2 hour ride out to the reef was refreshing and enjoyable. When the boat hovered above the reef, the guide noted that we were fortunate that the waters were so clear, and the bottom was completely visible, in what he described as between 12-25 feet of depth. The guide was very knowledgeable about the coral and fish varieties, and seemed enthusiastic in his presentation. Seeing the area so clearly, and having an interpretive guide made the visit educational as well as enjoyable. It was definitely worth the price of admission.
