Stayed here for 3 nights. Wifi never worked. Only 2 grills for the entire place. Both grills and cbeach chairs were taken over by the large family staying in the suite at the beach. The main tiki hut had no power, could not turn on lights. No lights on the boat dock or piers. Very dark. No landscape lights. People left drinks and garbage on the dock and outside the beach front suites. Won't be back!

Came down to the Keys to dive. Have stayed at the Pelican several times before but for some reason it seemed noisier than it was in the past. Not noise from neighbors but road noise and air conditioner noise.

However, it remains one of the more laid back and best value properties for the money in Key Largo. Staff were the best and always helpful as usual. Besides the value, the friendly service is why I keep coming back.

My family and I visited The Pelican Cottages for 6 nights at the end of July. My children and I stayed in the Rosette Cottage, and my extended family stayed in the other three adjoining cottages. We had the best time, and the views were amazing. The beach, private feel, kayaks, and calm waters are just a few of the amenities that will bring us back again. Our children(ages 20yo to 2yo) enjoyed snorkeling, swimming, and building sand castles in the sand that was raked and cleaned up each morning. The staff was very courteous and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay. The cottages were well equipped, clean, and air conditioned with comfortable beds and ample room to move around while visiting with others.
