We were really hoping to find a small diving resort in Key Largo that we could use when we visited. The. Check-in started the stay off poorly and it never got any better. I stood in the lobby area for about five minutes and was never greeted by anyone. I finally asked a young women sitting behind a counter if this is where I should check in and she replied yes but that she was busy. I waited several more minutes before she finally asked my name. Then she couldn’t find our room key. Another ten minutes goes by and they finally found a key. Go into the room and it was very worn out and dated. Lights have been ripped of the wall, the AC couldn’t keep up in either room, the curtains weren’t completely attached to the rods, the front door wouldn’t shut all the way, and tiny insects were all over. The bed was also a terribly uncomfortable and needs replaced immediately. The resort itself is in a great location but it needs a major update.

Spent 3 days with Amoray doing morning dives. Crew was very professional, efficient and hospitable and made sure we had a great experience. Our dive guides Alex & David were awesome at pointing out lots of interesting sea life during the dive and helped keep us together and safe. Definitely will be back!

The dives were great, and the instructors were extremely knowledgeable! Shout out to Kate and David for being amazing! Also my room must have been one of the renovated ones and it was extremely nice! Even better than expected thank you all!

I feel like you don't find gems like these everywhere you go, but this is probably the best resort I've stayed at, all the way through, from the helpful front desk, to the amazing waterfront rooms, to the activities you do, we did scuba diving, and it was probably the best diving I ever done, the crew was super helpful and energetic, they knew the spots to go, we saw rays, sharks, turtles and a bunch of other stuff while we dove reefs and wrecks, even though I did diving, it is the same crew doing the snorkeling and other activities so I bet they were just as happy. Even if you aren't certified in scuba they have a class you take and they make sure you understand what you're doing, they have a pool to practice in. And not only that it's not that far away from other must see places in Key Largo. You can kayak and waterboard on their beach. I was really happy with my stay and a huge thanks to all the people who makes this a place worth staying.

Beautiful views. Our room was clean but very dated. This room has not been renovated yet. The queen bed is older than dirt, sags in the middle and creeks loudly when you move. Housekeeping does not enter the room but leaves items in a bucket so list what you need , ie toilet paper, trash bags, etc. The view from the deck was hindered by overgrown bushes. We got some water inside by the entry door after a heavy rain so we learned not to leave anything on the floor. We had plenty of space for our group of 6 (teens and adults). The resort pool was very warm (hot) but clean and very large. We loved the tiki huts over picnic tables and used the grills nightly. Sunset views were gorgeous. The front office staff and scuba instructors were fantastic. We went out for one dive on Tuesday afternoon. The sea was rough and many people had difficulty with motion sickness. We wished it was one longer dive instead of two. They had everyone come up to move the boat 100 feet. It takes a long time to set up and drop everyone down, etc., so it seemed that actual diving time was minimal. We also wished we knew about special ear plugs before we went...next time.
