After a wonderful lunch, we understood why this small restaurant was packed with customers on a Saturday afternoon. We completely enjoyed all of our choices. However, the fried oysters breaded thickly with crunchy crust were memorable. The fish was completely fresh and delicious. Each was served over nice mesclun lettuce mixed with a bit of chopped fruit. The sweet and hot dipping sauce for the oysters was great. I don’t love sauce and had mine served on the side, but others loved the creamy spicy sauce. They make their own desserts and offered a large selection of options. We’ll be back soon!

Our friends from the north were in and we went to our go to seafood restaurant . Nothing special to look at as Food Shack is in a strip mall. If u want romantic , quiet dinner then this is not your place. If u want lively with the best seafood around, then food shack is your place . Sweet potatoes crusted snapper was to die for. Fresh flakey and great topping. Shrimp rolls and mussels as an appetizer were great !

We went tot he Food Shack based on a friend’s recommendation and numerous TA reviews. It was excellent. Very nice selection of fresh seafood and wonderfully prepared as well. They offer some of the most creative methods of preparing fish. Too many numerous details in the preparation to mention. The portions were very generous and excellent quality. We walked in and were offered an immediate seating at the bar which was appreciated as they had a waiting line for tables at 8 pm. It’s not a quiet romantic type of place, rather a fun and eclectic decor. People just having good fun and food. Nice selection of beer and wine are offered. They don’t offer a full bar so be aware in advance if that is a concern. We enjoyed this place immensely and if in the area will return. I know it’s a favorite of the locals which is alway a good thing. Service was very promptly and the staff was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Great Job !

This popular restaurant is tucked away in near the corner the Market Place Shopping Center east of the Inter coastal Bridge. This restaurant specializes in fresh fish and garden salads for lunch and dinner. Prices seemed very reasonable. Take-out is even offered with a menu filled from front to back. There is one hamburger and a chicken sandwich thrown in for the meat lovers.

Little Moir’s is divided in two parts. One area is the main restaurant with tables close together. The other area is an inviting bar area. The restaurant ambiance is decorated in nautical/Hawaiian themes. There is so much to look at.

My wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Sweet Potato crusted Salmon salad and the Sweet Potato crusted Snapper salad. They would give it a score of ten.

The onion soup is what I started with. There was plenty of sherry Parmesan Gorgonzola cheese on top of homemade croutons. There was no lack of onions, maybe the most I have eaten. The onion soup could have been my meal.

An appetizer special seemed interesting with Cajun Shrimp and Sausage on skewers. Four small/medium shrimp and two small pieces of sausage came on top of a small salad. I was a bit disappointed, particularly for the price of $12.50. There should have been, indeed, a third skewer.

Overall, we are impressed with this popular restaurant in Jupiter that was started by Chef Moir in 2002. There is a good reason why there are so many patrons. As Little Moir’s Food Shack slogan states, “From top scholar to the blue collar. Food for all walks of Life.”

The place is very small. You feel like you are elbow to elbow with your neighbor. It makes you feel like you have to hurry up so the people waiting could get a table.
Now the good news: The food is excellent. Not a bad dish on the menu. If you can handle the wait, go for it.
