From sheltering in the Zeta doorway to a quick beer to a long lunch. This place turned out to be an unlikely gem. Seriously invested in on-show micro brewery tackle and a list of five or six in house brews (plus the usual range or bought ins) we were pleasantly surprised by the offerings and notwithstanding being wet through from being caught in a downpour, the excellent quality of the beer led to a browse of the menu and again, pleasantly surprised by the food. Perhaps the typical town bar feel influenced our initial expectations but they are probably right in understating the surroundings a little to let the product do most of the talking. Really tasty food and drink and not particularly expensive. But for just being a passing-through patron, I'd probably take ownership of a bar stool in there. Our visit was a wet Wednesday lunchtime so likely livens up later and weekends but enjoyed our chill time at Zeta
