Description: Early days of Florida historical inn visited by the Duke of Windsor with photographs adorning the lobby. Fabulous Sunday all-you-can-eat buffet. Some overnight accommodations in clean, comfortable though simply furnished rooms. Lovely garden. Pool. Exhibit of Seminole artifacts on the second floor is quite interesting. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but is 100% authentic and really very nice and well-worth the trip..

We recently took some friends to lunch at the Seminole Inn for their first visit. There was only one other couple here when we arrived so service was fast. (Place was full when we left.)

The buffet was special St. Patricks Day food, looked good, but we opted to order from the menu. My wife had a southern fried chicken sandwich and loved it! I had a roast beef wrap and sweet potato fries. Both were excellent.

The sweet potato fries were served with a small container of sour cream and honey. It was a different taste but I really enjoyed it.

The friends enjoyed their meals - no complaints - and would definitely return when they are in the area.

The rocking chairs on the porch looked inviting for relaxing after lunch. Maybe next time.

The inn is quaint, built in 1926. The buffet lunch was delicious: fresh salad, homemade biscuits, whipped butter, homemade strawberry freezer jam, EXCELLENT CORN/CLAM CHOWDER, and a good variety of main dishes. The best was the PEACH COBBLER with homemade whipped cream. Our waiter Jason was very friendly and efficient. We’ll try their Sunday Buffet soon.

The Seminole Inn, built in 1926, sits on the main highway through this charming south Florida town. The building is still primarily an inn, but its restaurant enjoys a great reputation for its Sunday brunch. At $16.95 this is a great bargain to enjoy freshly prepared offerings of a wide variety. Old Florida Sunday breakfast at its best. The omlet station is great a turning out "just right" omlets with a nice variety of ingredients. The carving station has excellent roast beef and turkey offerings. Fresh fruit galore. Particularly liked their full bodied coffee. Have been here three times, traveling from central Florida just for the brunch. Will definitely be back

We arrived on a Valentines weekend And the hostess was kind enough to tell us that we could eat there without a reservation but we had 1/2 hour to eat which we all three laughed about… It was very good the Gravy was the best I’ve ever tasted and of course everyone is saying the peach cobbler is wonderful! This is a wonderful way to spend a lazy Sunday morning they even have mimosas and their menu goes from salad to meat to fruit to omletes… I highly recommend a drive out here to enjoy this wonderful food and the history of the building!

The Seminole Inn has a long history in Indiantown. Built by a Chicago railroad entrepreneur, Mr. Warfield, the uncle of the future Wallis Simpson who famously married the heir to the British throne, and forced him to abdicate. You can read all about it in the lobby and halls of the hotel. The hotel itself feels like "old Florida" with a parrot in the lobby, pretty Garden and colorful wall murals upstairs featuring the history of the Seminoles and their persecution in Florida. The hotel is open for lunch only - from 11:00 - 2:00. They offer a good fried chicken buffet with all the trimmings (carrots, mashed potatoes, collared greens, plus a salad bar) for under $10. A good deal. You may also order off the menu, which features fried green tomatoes. Service was friendly but a bit slow.
