I have eaten here many times and I usually get the whole tried fish. Well today I had the taco salad and it Did NOT disappoint! I had mine with chorizo! It was AMAZING! I appreciate their friendly service and for an authentic meal it is pretty fast too! This is a restaurant is a staple of our family!

Only Mexican restaurant in town serving authentic Mexican food. Inexpensive. Yummy. Be advised that you order at a counter and then food is brought to your table.

We have been going to La Tienda for years. We started going when they first opened and have watched their business grow. The service is good, the food is excellent.
The only issue I have is the ordering process needs to be streamlined and have an area where people can wait. Often times, the folks that are waiting are standing up right in front of tables with patrons eating. But, I'm being picky.
If you like street tacos, these are the best and there are many types of meat to choose from.
if you like hot sauces, they have them. Portions are large and the price is so reasonable.
Once you go, you'll understand why people keep coming back!

Seriously! It's authentic (which a cursory glance through these reviews will corroborate) and I haven't had a meal I didn't love from here. You know how everyone has their go-to restraunt? Well this one is mine.

In particular, the huevos con chorizo and the bistec mexicana are some of my favorite meals. And ohmygod their tortillas are so soft and flavorful. I also like to get an extra side of plantains. Side note: plantains, in general, are so underrated.

When you order they have a green and red sauce to put on your food. The green sauce is like liquid guacamole and the red sauce is a spicy mouthgasm. I could honestly drink them both if it were socially acceptable. I may, or may not, have tried doing that on my own 👀. 10/10 would give away my first born child to have the recipe for these sauces.

Most of the time I eat here, I order to go. They don't have a great track record of getting the order right if you order your meal differently (eg., ask for no sour cream or for extra sauce). But I just make sure I reiterate any special instructions and ask for extra sauce cups when I go to pick it up and I rarely have problems anymore. The food is also so good that they could honestly completely screw it up and I'd happily eat it anyway. Bonus points: its very inexpensive!!!

I'm also 99% sure the chicken soup can cure cancer. (But I'm not a doctor, so what do I know?)

Okay, now I'm hungry for La Tienda!
