Family members had the fried shrimp which were large and tasty. I had the blackened Mahi-Mahi Caesar Salad which was wonderful. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was incredibly busy and understaffed. Our Wait Person did a good job and she had way to many tables.

We make catfish deweys a priority every time we come to the area. We drove up from Miami Beach this time and while the drive was not enjoyable the food at deweys was worth it. It is always hot, tasty and service is great.

We decided to try Catfish Deweys based on what we heard and recommendations. First, it’s a very very casual restaurant, second, if you like “all you can eat” venues, this is the place for you. Our server came out with “hush puppies” and Cole slaw before we even ordered, which was great and not expected. We happen to be there for the King Crab Leg night and it was quite busy. The food is mediocre, not spectacular, service was good. We ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer and they were just ok. We each had a half portion of the scallop and snapper entrees and it was more than enough food. We will return for their baby back rib, all you can eat night, which is Wednesday’s. Overall a good experience.

Catfish Deweys is always a ‘must do’ as part of our yearly trip to south Florida. So happy to learn that, even in this pandemic, it’s a safe place to be. Your temp is taken upon arrival and tables are distanced. Food? Oh, heck,yeah! It’s still off the hook! You’re gonna get good food, good price, good service. Good bar. What you’re not gonna get? Anything pretentious.

I placed an online order for my sister for her birthday as I am long distance. The order was incomplete when delivered and I called to report it. They immediate corrected the issue. My sister and her finance' enjoyed their meals as I knew they would. She was so excited with a happy belly. I can't wait for this pandemic to be over so I can visit the city and dine at Catfish Deweys. Excellent service!
