This place is great. The layout of the property allows quiet relaxation by the back pool or fun activities by the bar and front pool. The staff is excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable. We will return.

We had a wonderful experience at the show, she was so entertaining. The staff was helpful and friendly; there was only one young man who was frowning and not happy at the front of the show.

Hello Dennis,
Thank you so much for your kind words, we agree Cashetta has an amazing show, with a thrill a minute she definitely knows how to get everyone involved.
As far as the staff goes here well, they go the extra mile to make sure that they meet and exceed your expectations. So thank you for noticing the touch of class we have here

Hi John,
We are so happy that this was your second time here, I take it we are doing something correct. Our staff is great they do tend to go the extra mile and cater to you, it is a level of service that they themselves are striving for. Hearing it all the time form our family, (because we do consider everyone that stays here part of our family) means a lot to us that is why when we open our home to you we want you to feel like you have entered a new world one of luxury and we want you to feel like royalty, I mean we are The Royal Palms

My partner and I are victims of the new economy, and are therefore currently living on opposite sides of the country for our jobs. We periodically then rendezvous in fun spots to catch up. This time it was the Royal Palms in Ft. Lauderdale., FL. We were not disappointed! The first evening there we were dining on a very respectable pasta and salad, sipping a pleasant white wine, and watching a Dame Edna Everage impersonator performing (singing live/for real mind you), all at poolside on a beautiful balmy evening. Where else are you going to find all that? This little gem of a resort offers a classy experience for gay men. Since our circle tends to know the "good" stuff, that can be quite a challenge, but these lads pull it off very well. The room was pleasant, modern, and impeccably clean. The two swimming pools were beautiful, the work out room very decent (with brand new equipment), the landscaping lush, and the location supremely central to the ocean (the Atlantic and the beach were a mere two blocks away), local points of interest, shopping, and the inter-coastal waterway. The staff could not have been more attentive nor more efficient. Having a restaurant and bar right there at the resort was a complete treat as well. There is only one small thing I would change, and that would be the coffee. While it was decent, we tend to prefer something a bit richer and more distinctive. But hey, we could walk to Starbucks and/or Peets just down the highway, so not a crisis. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: We had a bit of drama with heavy-footed people in the room above. The staff was supremely kind and...

You know, during these times, we often hear that couples have to live apart for work, which alone is taxiing. The great part sounds like you met up here and from the sound of it had a great time together. We are glad we could be a part of your reunion.

Once again the rants and rave reviews of this second to no one staff have everyone talking about it. It is always such a pleasure to hear it and it never gets old.

You are right the food is great and our dinner shows are top notch, don’t forget the next time you come back to see us you try our other new restaurant, only one block away, The Plaza Bistro. Trained by the staff of The Royal Palms Resort and Spa, you will see the pampering does not stop at our gate but is filtering into the community.
Come back soon as we already miss you!

My partner and I live across the country for work reasons and we rendezvous monthly and this time it was Ft. Lauderdale. We chose The Royal Palms and I can't say enough great things about this resort. I really focus on cleanliness and RP was flawlessly impeccably squeaky clean. The staff was the best I have encountered at any hotel I have been to. We had a slight issue and it was resolved immediately to our greatest satisfaction. Having a restaurant onsite is a real plus. My partner arrived later in the evening and we just did not feel like going restaurant searching so we ate at the RP and were very pleased with the offerings. Breakfast and lunch were great as well We met some great folks from around the country as well as some locals who spent Sunday afternoon by the pool. Very friendly and festive atmosphere...very classy as well! All said, I doubt there is any other spot in Ft. Lauderedale that we would even consider upon our return.

Awesome is a great way to start our day here when we come in and read these reviews. We can’t thank you enough for your kind words and the boasting of our staff. We think that with every response the staff here tries that much harder to go above and beyond.

I am also glad to hear that they staff got right on any issue that may have happened and resolved it in a positive manner.

I am glad to hear that you tried out our restaurant here on the property and enjoyed the food. We get a lot of great compliments about that as well as the top notch staff.

Be safe, we will have your home away from home waiting for your monthly return!
