Stayed overnight, room was clean, complementary breakfast was very good. Front desk person was very nice and personable. Check in and checkout was uneventful. I had a first floor room and it was quiet. No complaints.

Fidel was the WOW! employee! When we arrived exhausted in the middle of the night, Fidel knew how to handle tired guests with children. He had all the things we might need ready for us in few minutes to avoid any additional trips to the front desk! Fidel is the SIXTH STAR in our review! We initially bought one night stay but when we experienced how much people whom work here care for their guests we extended our stay for ten more days! Right away we noticed and enjoyed our clean room with beautiful furniture and all operable appliances, new showerhead, brand new towels, soft, clean and comfortable beds, clean washer and dryer, generous breakfast, freshest, sweetest oranges, clean welcoming pool, cleanest beautifully landscaped grounds, well lit, safe and secure parking. They even had small packets of salt and pepper for us when we brought some of our dinners to our room! Plus they had our family's favorite sugar for coffee- Florida Crystals! This business maybe classified as motel but when you add all the details, love and care from Sunny, Fidel, Vanessa, Omar, Bonia towards their guests it is a five star hotel! Thank you very much indeed for such a wonderful experience!

Sonny, was great to work with. Upon arrival he made it a point to meet with our group and get us settled in. He also provided us with a list of eateries in the area, many of which he had already negotiated a discount with. We used 3 of those locations during our 4 day stay... all were great.

Our stay at Travelodge Florida City was exceptional. We came from Canada to visit the Keys, Everglades and stayed for three nights.
The hotel is very conveniently located (close to the overseas highway) if you want to make a day trip to the Keys and also explore exciting places nearby like the Everglades. There are many dining options nearby and also gas stations.
The staff and management of the hotel were very helpful and responsive especially Vicky (who was managing the kitchen in the morning for the breakfast).
The complimentary breakfast was very good, freshly made and readily stocked with good options like eggs, sausages, fruits, breads, waffles, coffee etc...
Cleanliness was maintained at every aspect of the stay.
I would highly recommend this place to stay if you want to have a good experience!
