The staff here is amazing. Morgan is the assistant manager and excellent customer service is her middle name. Great happy hour-could use a meatless option!
This was my third visit-perfect for a solo getaway or couples. I like the fact that they've added an evening menu for people who might not want to leave the inn to have dinner.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the ocean...it's worth it.

What a great find! We loved the charm of the inn and the rooms, and time spent on the porch and beach was delightful. The breakfast was well done, and we enjoyed having the option of lunch and dinner in the inn as well. (All of the food we had was very well prepared.) The staff was most accommodating on any request we had, and it was nice that they were all willing to handle whatever the need. The rooms are not huge, but ample and typical of what you're going to find in an older inn. We also enjoyed exploring the downtown area and its many great restaurants. We will definitely return!

We were visiting the area mainly to relax for a few days. As Floridians, we appreciate a nice beach and surf, but only in modest doses. We also appreciate what the August sun can do to you in just an hour or two. We expected to spend part of a day wandering around the town and an hour or two in the ocean. What about the rest of the time? Then we saw the porch in the pictures of the lodge and we were sold. You have rocking chairs in full shade, beverage service, a wonderful sea breeze and a great view of the ocean. The hours just slip away while you relax. Couldn't ask for more.

The rooms in the lodge were good, but not exceptional. Was more like a B&B than a hotel. Not really a factor since we wouldn't expect to spend much awake time in there (see porch experience above). The included breakfast buffet was well above average - not as extensive as you might find in a large hotel, but of good quality. Lovely atmosphere for morning dining looking out over the ocean.

One small complaint is the the WiFi service was erratic and would drop off easily. It is possible that most of the issue was with Comcast rather than the lodge, but if you have to be constantly connected, then be aware.

We did not try their food service for other meals and I suspect we realy missed out. Some other guests had an early supper on the porch and it really smelled great! They were very complementary to the lodge's chef.

A great destination for adults seeking a long weekend getaway.

Room Tip: Rooms facing west might pick up a lot of heat in the afternoon.

The service, the room, and the facility were all great. The morning breakfast buffet and the dinners are prepared by caring folks there to serve and make your experience wonderful. The facility is just a short walk from a beautiful beach.
