We were so happy to be staying at this property. We came on a "Girls Getaway" for my friend's birthday. We loved every minute of it! We were in a corner room on the fourth floor. The view was amazing, and the heated toilet seats have spoiled me for life. You are as close to the beach as you can get in this area which is right across a quiet cobbled street. they put out beach chairs and umbrellas for you whenever you want. Carlos brings you cold water at just the right time. The beach and water are amazing. Breakfast comes with your accommodations and you have good choices and the portion size was perfect for us. All the staff are friendly and guest centered. We will come back!

Room tip: all rooms face the ocean. I would pick a higher floor for no obstructions, but the pool is on the second floor if that is what you want.

This hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and has the best complimentary breakfast i've had all year. Seriously awesome breakfast. Probably the best part about the stay. Would go back just for the breakfast forreal.

Beware paying the reduced rate you might find on booking sites! We did that and ended up with a "pool deck" room...walked in to find the "ocean view" largely blocked by a big french dude and his wife lounging and eating about 10 feet in front of our sliding glass door...serious design flaw in the layout of the hotel that they dont tell you!!....also beware of the wine wench in the hotel restaurant chanson....she will get you

Room tip: Make sure you don't get the pool deck room if you like privacy. They make it look like all the rooms have a ocean view balcony but there are 3 on the 2nd floor that go out to the pool deck!!

U2833IZcarolinec,

Thank you for your recent visit to the Royal Blues Hotel and taking the time to tell others of your experience. I appreciate your compliments on the breakfast experience.

As we only have 12 rooms on 4 floors - 3 of our rooms are on the pool deck level.
The pool is typically very private, and yes we do serve lunch for guests to enjoy during the day. You booked a classic terrace room of which we have four - two on the pool deck and one each on floors three or four. At the time of your booking you can request a high or low floor, no matter how you choose to reserve your room. Many guests enjoy being on the pool deck level for the convenience to the gym, swim spa, and for guests traveling together having adjacent rooms. Most of the time, the pool deck is empty and you have that area all to yourself.

If you reserve on any booking method a Corner Terrace room, you have a private balcony on floors two thru five. All other room types - Classic Corner, One Bedroom Suite, and Penthouse suite are all on upper floors.

Our staff is ready at all times to tell you the best available room based upon your preference at the time of reservation.

We have a very talented Advanced level sommelier on staff to assist guests with wine pairings for their meal. I apologize if there was a miscommunication regarding your request and what was delivered to you, please email me direct at generalmanager@royalblueshotel.com so I can look into the specific situation that affected your experience.

We hope to welcome you back to the Royal Blues Hotel in the near future.

We stayed at the Royal Blues Hotel for 6 days in March and greatly enjoyed our stay. It's a true boutique hotel - far from the big, gitzy high rises found along the beach in neighboring towns. The Royal Blues Hotel reminded me of someplace you'd see along the French Riviera and had a European vibe to it. We received a warm welcome from the reception staff at check-in. And since we had a morning flight, our room wasn't quite ready. So we enjoyed a delicious champagne brunch on the patio overlooking beautiful Deerfield Beach, until we could check in. Complimentary breakfast is included with your stay and the menu was varied enough to offer several choices each day. The wait staff was lovely and very friendly. Our room was a fabulous corner unit with a large wrap around terrace, offering beautiful water views and a great spot to look at the ocean every day. The room was modern, streamlined and comfortable....not quite as plush or luxurious as other high-end hotels, but I got used to the minimalist flair. The hotel has a nice little bar area and a weekday happy hour with great craft cocktails. The location can't be beat - the beach is across the street, there are several dining options in walking distance (most mediocre except for the Whale's Rib - a dive bar with great food!), but Boca Raton and Pompano are both a short drive away and offer an array of delicious dining options. We would definitely return for another relaxing get away!

Room tip: Corner rooms with ocean views

Gorgeous property on the spacious beach in Deerfield . Great personalized service in a true boutique hotel with lovely rooms . But the technology overwhelms and my bathroom gizmos didn't work so comfort ... not so much .

We recently stayed at the Royal Blues Hotel and it was absolutely wonderful! We splurged for the 1 bedroom suite and loved it. The room was beautiful and the balcony was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the gorgeous ocean views and people-watching. The staff is quite small due to the small property size but everyone of them was a pleasure to work with. I had emailed back and forth with the hotel before my trip and they were always prompt in getting back to me and were able to accommodate any requests I had. We had an issue with the hot water in our shower and they had a maintenance person there right away to fix the issue. The restaurant is excellent, but does have an eclectic menu that may not be to everyones liking, however, the dishes we did have (octopus for my husband and the lobster for myself) were excellent! The location is perfect and there are plenty of restaurants, both moderately priced and more high end, within a few minutes drive. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!
