Lots to read and learn as you walk the boardwalk while enjoying a delicious ice cream cone.

I just visited the boardwalk at Daytona Beach while staying there for the weekend. It is still a lot of fun as there are the old fashioned game rooms. You can play the classics and the newer type games. There are two game rooms called Mardis Gras game room and the Joyland Fun Center. Both have snack bars with a vintage food menu. You can also grab a beer as well while playing all of the arcade games. There is not a tremendous amount to do but it is still a lot of fun. The arcades remind me of my childhood as you play for an hour to get a rubber frog as a prize. Thats the fun of it Overall it is good, and If you like modest/classic/old school stuff to do then you will have a good time.

The amusement park and pier were mostly closed during our visit. The walk along the boardwalk was good as you have the ocean on one side and and upper end hotels on the other side. The walk includes plaques explaining key dates about racing on Daytona beach.
