First off, when we arrived out waiter took our drink order and gave us a basket of warm chips and salsa. Nice, however, he did not tell us that they had hot or mild to choose from. He gave us hot! Didn't come back by to check on us at all, a bus boy that came out noticed that we didn't have any ice water and said "it's hot out here, would you like some ice water?" The original waiter never came back, so we finally asked somone else, can we place an order??? My husband ordered the steak burrito, that is exactly what he got a steak burrito with hardly any steak in it and some refried beans....They never asked if you want lettuce, sour cream, guacamole....it was just plain, and way over priced $ 20. When the original waiter came by and said something, we said "we had to ask someone else, where were you?" I had the pear salad w/goat cheese and candied walnuts. There was so much dressing on it, it was soggy. When I said something to the waitress, she said, I can go get you a bunch more greens to soak it up....yeah, no thanks....$12 later.. As we sat there, a gentleman came and sat near us and ordered a margherita, we watched the bartender make the drink, pour some in the sink off the drink and add even more ice, before he served it. Had that man taken the ice out of that drink, I would say he maybe had about and inch and a half of drink in that glass...Thoroughly, not impressed with anyone at this point except, the busboy, he should have gotten the tip...The rest of the staff acted like we weren't even there. No one said, how are you today, are you visiting, on vacation, do you live local...nothing.....not going back.....

Skirt steak $28.00..should have been cooked to perfection...almost raw and bloody in areas..side salad $6.00..!! $14.00 margaritas..
Dessert dry...$114.00 for Easter lunch..only good thing was beef brisket quesadilla.
And valet parking is a joke..not needed..im.a local and will most likely never go back..landsharks doesn't look any better..this is Daytona people..wake up...2 people dining for this price..and left a decent tip..complained about the steak..waiter didnt seem to know what to do...

Bland, overpriced food with no thought about quality or repeat business. One visit and you won’t want to go back.

This is too bad as their location and outdoor bar and grassy area are an ideal location. The bar may be good but eat before you get there. Even Taco Bell has flavor compared to the food here.

The service was ok and drinks are pricey. After a few friends saying the burrito was bad, we decided to try it. They were right not good and the salsa wasn't very good either.

Enjoyed Cocina 214, the new Tex Mex restaurant recently opened in Daytona Beach right on the ocean. Too chilly to eat outside. Had blackened mahi-mahi tacos and enchilada combo (shredded beef, chicken cheese) with picante, verde, and queso sauces. Had traditional frozen marguerita and house red wine on the happy hour so both were reasonably priced. Total bill without tax and tip about $45. Service was good. Asked for both hot and mild salsa to go with free chips. Called ahead for priority seating since no reservations allowed.
