We stayed one night on a Saturday on Thanksgiving weekend 2017. We had reservations at Boardwalk Inn and Suites. But cancelled them because of bad reviews on Google, Booking and Trip Advisor. We booked only a couple days ahead and was able to get one room in the south tower on the 7th floor Room 733 on booking dot com. The room had two queen beds ocean view and city view. The room was directly over the pool and faced the amusement park. As others have stated, we heard road noise mainly hot rods racing their engines into the early morning. We attended the Turkey Run car show so we expected crowds and noise. The room was clean and did not have damp floors, sand or moldy smell. No balcony. But the terrace view from our bed was outstanding. The Cuisinart single serve coffee maker wasn't that great. Water poured out of machine. But not into cup. Only a few really tiny sugar packets in mini coffee station! Lol We had brought our own coffee maker, coffee cream and sugar. No fridge, microwave or hairdryer. But iron and safe in closet. Really hot shower! Bed was so comfy and fresh, crisp linens. Slept late so we didn't have the breakfast buffet. Valet was prompt when we called from our room for our car ask for Nick. Bellman was just as prompt when we called from our room to pick up our luggage. $24 daily for unlimited valet in and out privileges. Check in and out was a breeze. Very friendly staff. We did not eat in any of the restaurants. We did have a drink in the rum room. About $15 for a shot. Bartender gave exceptional service as well. With the holiday crowd, car show attendees, cheerleading competition, and a wedding going on there I thought the hotel was well prepared. We walked around the pool and boardwalk and up to the bandshell. It was a really lovely view walking at sundown. We will return for a future stay.

We stayed at the Hilton Daytona Beach oceanfront over Thanksgiving weekend. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of our room. I reserved a cabana room which was about $500 per night when the bellman got us to the room I was utterly shocked at the quality of the room. The walls were scuffed up the, beds had no bedskirt you could see the metal frame underneath and the floors were tile, no carpet. My thoughts on the tile was, because it was beach level maybe they were trying to make sure that the sand did not destroy the room.I asked the staff to change our room so we received a standard ocean view room, however you would’ve thought they would’ve tried to give us a room that was a little more comparable to the price that I paid. The carpet was disgusting, the tile in the bathroom was all chipped up and looked horrible it felt completely filthy. The safe did not work and there was no refrigerator in the room. We were so disgusted with the condition of our room that we left the next day after spending only one night. I would like to breathe a little positivity into this review, So the valet staff and the front desk staff were very friendly, personable and helpful. Also the interior of the hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms definitely need more TLC and I am shocked that Hilton would allow this hotel to get into this kind of condition.

Let me start off by saying I stay at this hotel every year when I come up to visit for the turkey rod run week so far my experiences have been great although this particular trip was horrible not only did we trailer up our cars for turkey rod run we checked into the hotel the hotel told us we HAD to park our cars in a private garage which was underground when we arrived it was pouring raining as the valet took us to the under car garage. When we woke up Friday morning to go to our cars the private garage was flooded we had 3 to 4 feet of WATER-standing water- in our vehicles the staff at the hotel was NO HELP at all, asked for a manager how convenient no manager was there every time we asked, we asked for shop vacs from maintenance they NEVER showed, we were absolutely horrified not only was there 10’s of thousands of dollars in damages to our 3 cars the hotel staff was insensitive and basically told Us it’s not there fault, “Not there fault” they told us we HAD to park there There was so much water in our cars the gas tanks were so full with gas and water they were spilling gas everywhere in the garage NONE of our cars will start finally hours later we had to push our cars by hand up 2 rows to get the tow truck accessible to tow them to the speedway. As we’re we’re asking questions to staff as how this could happen we hear over the walkie talkies for them NOT TO SPEAK YO US, no accommodations were made to us in anyway we still had to pay for our stay we still had to completely gut out the interiors of our cars to help relieve water. We are HORRIFIED at the lack of consideration or compassion at this establishment as well as the inconvenience and expense this has caused not 1 but 5 vehicles 3 of which are ours we will NEVER stay here again your staff is unacceptable and for a high end hotel a Hilton none the less your poor accommodations are herendous all we can say now is we will see you in court. I hope no one ever has to have our experience Turkey Rod Run brings thousands of ppl each year we will NEVER stay or have friends and family stay here again.

Thank you for your posting on Trip Advisor regarding your automotive parking experience while a guest with our hotel. We certainly apologize that you experienced the reported damage to your automobiles while parked over night during an extreme freak heavy thunderstorm/downpour and sustained winds that created some flooded areas of the garage. Unfortunately, your review of how our hotel handled the issues differs quite greatly from what actually the hotel parking management assisted you with. When you parked your vehicles with us in the garage, you drove your vehicles in on your own, selected your own parking spots and retained your vehicle keys. Our hotel had no record of your vehicle, make, model, type or your name or guestroom number to contact you in the event of an emergency. The following morning when you made this claim, our parking manager arranged all towing and trailering cost free for you to your desired destination and has submitted the report to the insurance carrier. Again, I apologize that your parking experience was so dissatisfactory however I believe you may have been not fully aware of all facts involved based on reading your version of these circumstances. If you have any additional information that either conflicts with what I have provided you here or any other info that has not been communicated, please reach out to me at jberkley@daytonahilton.com to allow us to add review and add that information to your claim.

Great location with an amazing view but so sad to have very dirty windows... 20 minutes waiting time to get a table for breakfast and honestly the breakfast is very poor in term of quality and choices

Nicolas, we’re glad that our located met your needs, but are sad to hear that a few other aspects of your stay fell short of your expectations. We will definitely share your comments regarding our windows with our housekeeping department so our guests to come can fully enjoy our beautiful views. Although our breakfast buffet is a favorite among guests and the Daytona Beach community, we do offer additional options, both at our grill and other outlets. In the future, we hope that we can really impress you on another stay, and we truly appreciate you sharing your feedback with us.
