Just got back from visiting my son and his family who lives in Melbourne. We decided to stay at the Discovery Beach Resort because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. We arrived earlier then check in time but our room wasn't ready. We requested a room above the 5th floor. While waiting for our room the girl at the front desk suggested we eat lunch in the restaurant. She called us when the room was ready. I think they should update there software had to give her the credit card 3 times before it took. We were lucky enough to get the 6th floor.All rooms face the ocean. Our room was a 2 bedroom 2 bath. The condo dated. The master bathroom has glass doors on the shower there was black mold on the bottom of the shower door. The master bed was very comfortable and the second bedroom had 2 single beds which are good for children but not for an adult.The condo comes fully equipped.The enclosed deck had 2 chairs and a table the screen on the slider would not stay on the track. The views are amazing. Kitchen well equipped I did not do any cooking or use anything in the kitchen. The parking is right in front of the condo's we never had a problem finding a spot. It is located within walking distance to the pier and several restraints and shopping. There is a Dunkin Donut...More
