I can't imagine the review saying the front desk staff people were rude.
I am also a pre-construction time-share owner and have been coming to the resort every year. The front desk staff has always been delightful and helpful Maybe it was just a bad day for both parties involved because everyone I talk to think the front desk staff are great. The Resort on Cocoa Beach is definitely the most outstanding place to stay on Cocoa Beach. It is well maintained and has wonderful facilities.

We are pre-construction Owners at this resort and have cone here for years. They usually try and accommodate you, but this year they have new ladies at the front desk who are nothing but rude. We love the resort, but give it a very low rating for having people like that giving a first impression. Will get in touch with the manager after we get back home and settled in. This is not good!

Room Tip: There is NO way to choose a good room. The desk picks and chooses and there is no rhyme or reason th...

We stayed at this "hotel" which is actually a time share rental, for a one night pre cruise stay January 15, 2012. We didn't arrive until 3:00 which was sad because it would have been so nice to enjoy this place a little longer. Very clean room, very friendly staff. Check in was very easy, and check out was very easy. A couple notes about this place, it is a time share rental facility so they have different rules than a traditional hotel. You have to be checked out by 10:00 a.m. or you will be charged $100. We did check out by 10:00 and had arranged for a taxi to pick us up at 10:00. However the taxi was 15 mins late, we were in the lobby with all our luggage quietly waiting for our taxi and the staff never said a word to us. Because it is a time share not a hotel you are asked to strip all the sheets off your beds and take all the used towels and place all these by the washer before you leave. You are also asked to start the dishwasher before you leave. There is a complimentary coffee with cream and sugar for use in the room (just like a hotel) there is dish soap, however there is no complimentary shampoo. Bar soap is provided. We had an ocean view balcony room. Some reveiws state you have to "lean over the balcony" to see the ocean. I would disagree with that. You do have to turn your head as "ocean view" rooms face the north but you do not have to "lean" to see the ocean. They have vending machines including an ice cream vending machine in the game room however we were looking for an ice machine and did not fine one. We did not eat at the restaurant because we were not in the mood for Mexican, we asked the front desk for some pizza delivery menus and they we very happy to provide us with some local menus. We also walked to the Publix grocery store that was about 2 blocks to the north and got some breakfast items as there is no breakfast available at this hotel. This was a nice place to stay for a group of 6 because we all had our own beds, one bedroom has a king bed, one bedroom has a set of 2 twins and couch is a sofa bed. There are 3 tv's and nice dinning room table and bar area. Big enough for all of us to stretch out and have our own personal space and not feel crowed. Would LOVE to stay here again!

We had (still having) a great stay here at the Resort on Cocoa Beach. From check-in through our stay so far everyone has been awesome. The rooms are huge, full kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 full bathrooms, huge living room, and best of all a balcony overlooking the ocean. The rooms are immaculate, fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc.

The grounds are kept very clean, and very well maintained. The pool is huge, and clean. We have not used the basketball or tennis courts, nor have we used shuffle board or ping pong, but it's all available for use. A little too cold for swimming at the beach, so we only went down for a short time, but it was very clean, and there is lots of room so you won't be on top of anyone else.

Overall, this was a great place to spend our winter trip, I'd suggest it to anyone looking to stay in Cocoa Beach.

Room Tip: See if you can get an end room, more windows to enjoy the sunshine!

We spent 2 nights over New Years Eve weekend here. Our oceanfront 2-bedroom family room was nicely decorated, and perfect for our 3-generational group. We were on the 5th floor and kept the balcony doors open enough at night to hear the ocean waves. The room had everything we needed, and we appreciated all of the amenities at the resort: game room for the kids, library of beach books, restaurant on site, and a pool with a volleyball net. Our teens were in heaven! The beach is beautiful. We look forward to returning.
