Thank you so much for your kind words of support! We appreciate your visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium more than we can say; without guests like you coming through our doors, we wouldn't be able to continue our mission of rescue, rehabilitation, and release!

I can see why this place needs to raise money. Very small operation, you can see it all in about 20 minutes. Dolphins confined to very small pools, sad.

We're sorry to see that you were a bit disappointed with your visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Christine. Our current facility is a converted wastewater treatment plant that we've occupied since the 1970s; while it has served us well over the decades, we recognize that the time is right to grow, and are currently in the initial phases of an exciting expansion plan that will result in even larger pools for our resident animals as well as greatly enhanced guest areas. We hope that you will come back to see us again in the future when the expansion plan is completed! In the meantime, we appreciate your support more than we can say; without guests like you coming through our doors, we wouldn't be able to continue our work and mission!

This is more like a rehabilitation center, than an attraction.

I am glad that they were able to capitalize on Winter and that brings in a lot of money in.

We appreciate your support of our work and mission at Clearwater Marine Aquarium! You are absolutely right that our main focus is on the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine animals; in that way, we are a bit different than a more traditional aquarium. Without guests like you coming through our doors, we wouldn't be able to continue our inspiring work.

I didn’t find it that great. I read the reviews and am surprised. The facility is

expensive just to tour and needs remodeling. The upstairs is 2 otters, 3 dolphins and a couple of turtles on second floor. The second floor also has some sting rays near where the diver is located. There’s a room displaying sea shells and there is a Videotaped message going on in the theater. Downstairs is a tank to view two turtles that were rescued with fish and a very small touch tank of stingrays and you can view the same two dolphins that you saw upstairs swimming in bottom of their tanks and than you walk into the gift shop. We did sit and listen to a speaker discuss the Dolphin’s Tale and saw the houseboat from the movie and you can see and read displays regarding the movie. We left feeling that even though it was expensive our money ($47.00 which included uber drive over and back from our hotel went to running the hospital facility). We would not recommend it. However, maybe the boat rides are worth it or the tour of kitchen not sure. This may be good for small children.

We appreciate your visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium very much, Lexi. Without visitors like you coming through our doors, we wouldn't be able to continue our mission of rescue, rehabilitation, and release. Our current facility is a converted wastewater treatment plant that we've occupied since the 1970s; while it has served us well over the decades, we recognize the time is right to modernize and expand, and are actually underway with a project to do so now. We hope that you'll come back and see us in the future when it's completed! In the meantime, thank you again for your visit, and your support of our work and mission!

Everyone was very friendly, especially Fernando who greeted us. My son got close up to fish and loved it and also petting the sting rays. It's great that they are rehabilitating, it's a good cause.
