To be honest I think we caught them at a bad time. We waited 35 min before I got up to get my family their own menu. The waitress on the right side of the restaurant just ignored us all together. Finally we had an order waitress come over I’m not even sure she was a waitress but she was awesome she took or drink order at the same time which would have been hard to do if I had not gotten our own menu. We got our drinks and again long wait for the food. We loved the food it was definitely delicious which cause me not to care too much about the wait. They were really busy but on the other side of that the blonde waitress on the right side of the restaurant needed to learn how to turn tables better and help out the rest of the staff. The staff had to help her out she brought out food without eating utensils she spilled drinks everywhere. We received an I’m sorry which wasn’t need we could see how busy they were now if the food was bad that would be a cause not to come back. All in all food was great. Careful about when you come busy busy busy

We stopped at the Havana cafe coming from the Florida keys and going to Fort Meyers beach. The little detour was really worthwhile. We had three different scampi dishes, all three were very good with portions justifying the price. The pick and peel was my favorite. The terras is cosy and the ambiance relaxed, staff do their best to serve even when super busy.

Every year, the trip to Chokoloskee and the Havana always delivers .... the fresh and delicious food, cold beer and rich dark coffee, the charm of the outdoor seating and the great staff ...just the best ......did miss the music this year but just might have been the day

Found this place by accident and was very happy. Had lunch with a Cuban sandwich. Fast service and authentic Cuban sandwich. Highly recommended. Take the short drive south over the causeway.

Stopped for lunch to kill time before an airboat ride. Fantastic stone crab and one of the best Cuban sandwiches I’ve had. The tea was cold and the tostones crispy and hot. It is a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. Only open from mid October to mid April.
