“Neat, old place! You must check out the bar area! Pretty cool to see~”

Reasonable prices - we were taken care of in a timely manner. I had a grilled cheese that came in a basket with chips and a pickle. Nothing fancy.
They sell a few souvenirs and toiletries.
The bar area is something to see, quite surprising.
After dining, also check out the overlook. Beautiful views!

Let Buddy and Kevin work hard to prepare a great meal for you in this bit of civilization amongst the lakes. There is the standard fare of pizzas and burgers and other type sandwiches. Local fishermen who don't catch anything will settle for the catch of the day here. There are also also several salads on the menu and the staff will go out of their way to please special dietary or gluten free needs. Enjoy you food indoors, on the porch or on the front lawn. Boaters can also seek a to go option.

Shout out to Kevin for his efforts on food during the day/evening. Enjoyed each meal we had. Continental breakfast was complimentary (covid impacts). Great bar.

As part of the Kettle Falls boat tour from the Kabetogama visitor center of Voyageurs National Park we stopped here for a short visit to the dam and the hotel. We had plenty of time for lunch and the lunch menu was pretty basic but good. We both had reasonably priced sandwiches and fries - all this keeping in mind the remoteness of the location. The dining room was old fashioned, but pleasant, and the server was almost frenetic in the speed our orders were taken and the food served. All in all we were glad we ate lunch while we visited, but I can't imagine a lengthy stay eating here every day.

We almost stayed here but decided not to and I’m glad we didn’t. Just is really rustic in remote location and not much to do unless you have a boat. Oh and they were having problems with the power when we stopped by, yikes! Glad we weren’t staying the night like we considered. I will say the bar was pretty cool and the slanted floor had a lot of character. The people were friendly and everything was fine but it’s a rustic experience!
