We waited until Thursday to try this restaurant because the web site said they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Well, it's closed for good. Sign taken down, no explanation on web site. Too bad, menu looked yummy.

We have eaten there a number of times. The last 2 visits, the must have been running low on gravy because our parm dishes had very little on them. Salads were smaller and they forgot to put the vinegar on them--just oil. Prices have gone up a bit, too. We will try it one more time to see if they can get back to where they used to be--even though we expect to pay more than last year.

Bartender was excellent food was great and remember these folks are from Philly and call sauce (gravy) They will leave what its really called as time goes on. Gravy is for mash potatoes.

My wife and I have been there twice (we are locals) and will probably not return. The portions were very large but not very palatable (salty, temp. etc). I would probably give this some slack but they continue to charge high prices for a mixed bag of "Italian" foods.
A good, relatively inexpensive Italian restaurant would do very well in the area. There are already several upscale quality restaurants specializing in Italian within a 1 - 2 mile radius of D'Ortones. Cut the portion size, lower the prices, cater to the local off season crowd more, and I think they may see some cars in the parking lot.
