This is a local institution. The foot-long dogs are good, if a little pale. You might ask for well done. Good greasy sides... This is not spa food by any means. You order at the counter and add condiments like onions melted into sauce, homemade spicy relish, chopped onions and sauerkraut. Grilled split top bun is very Connecticut. Good burgers. The onion rings seem like they come from Costco and the fries are just okay. You go for the food. Branch on Reidville Drive. Over the top decor there. Cheap and filing and a local treat.
