Great bargain for the price. Enjoyed the variety of the five courses. The wine pairings were very good especially the sherry with dessert. Three of the courses were very good the others were well executed but uninteresting or uninspired. Nice setting good service disappointed head chef could not make it in due to weather delays.

Thank John B

Went here in January, had a very nice meal and a good server named Ron. This time, we had a very aloof older woman who made numerous mistakes with our order and wine pairing. We were told the menu had recently changed, so we ordered the tasting menu again. Most of the courses were the same if not very similar to the ones we had in January. In short, a real waste of an expensive meal. We should have gone elsewhere.

Millwrights has been my sister’s and my favorite restaurant for several years. Chef Tyler’s menu consistently features fresh ingredients thoughtfully and creatively prepared. It is apparent that attention to detail and customer satisfaction are the top priority. The menus change seasonally and there are usually a variety of main offerings including fish, game, meat, poultry and vegan. They also offer 7 course options. Delicious and beautiful desserts all in a lovely rustic mill building with waterfall views. Great ambiance, romantic and seemingly perfect!

This was our second visit to Millwrights and this time was to celebrate Valentines Day. Our first visit was an excellent experience, this time, not quite as good. They had a pre-fixe 4 course Valentines Day menu which was limited in choices which we never understand. The dinner started with 2 offerings for the table that were on the menu, a cheese puff (gougeres) and a beausoleil oyster. Even though I informed our server of my shellfish allergy, they still brought one cheese puff & one oyster. No accommodation was made to substitute the oyster with something else. For our first courses we had the crab "johnny cake" which was excellent and the foie gras, also excellent. For our second courses we had the haddock & the lentil dumplings, both very good. Our main courses were the NY Strip steak and the guinea hen. Sadly, the steak was overcooked and had to be sent back & re-done. On return, it was cooked properly however, the quality of the steak itself was not as expected and we have had much better steak elsewhere at less cost. The guinea hen was very good. Overall, we felt that they were not at their best this evening and hope that it was just an off night!

Never really wowed at Millrights but it is local and my girlfriends and I wanted to meet for dinner. There were 3 of us. 2 of us ordered cosmos - my glass came half full for some reason. Wings and oysters as our appetizers were great but entrees were unremarkable. My two friends ordered the salmon which were both overcooked. I ordered a burger - would have liked the steak frites but not for $31...we had fun and the server was very nice.
