One of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Meat was juicy, flavorful and perfectly done. Definitely will go back and definitely recommend. Worth the trip. Berr selection is also top notch.

Contrary to other reviews I've read here, the food here is quite good. It's an Irish pub theme, with a standard menu, and several more 'upscale' specials and options. You can go from a burger to a shark entree. We've eaten here at least three times over the last year, and I was finally motivated to write a review. The food has been consistently good, and we hear the same from others who have eaten there. On a recent trip, I had a salmon sandwich (extremely good) and my wife had the shepherds pie, which was one of the better I've had (enough left over for two lunches the next day.) The side/house salad is nicely done, and not just a standard/basic salad. I also had the sweet potato fries, and they are better here than at a lot of other places. They cut them thick, like ranch fries, and also waffle cut them, so it gives them good crunch on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. Sometimes when sweet potato fries are thin cut, in long strips, they can be pretty soggy. Not these. On past trips we've had things like filet mignon sandwich, burgers, and the aforementioned shark. Every time we've been there, the owner walks around and personally visits each table. To the left as you enter, there is a large bar area with tables and lots of TVs. To the right is the main dining area with booths and tables, and also a large outdoor deck with lots of seating in nice weather. One improvement that would really help is to spiff up the facility and general grounds. It's all a little tired and run down, which I am sure they know. Perhaps if business continues to do well the capital improvements will be made. It's in a great spot right off exit 9, and along the growing Newtown-Bethel Route 6 Stony Hill district. It's clean, comfortable, and the food is quite good.

Service was excellent, we were seated outside on the deck which is 2 stories above the road making it gorgeous on a warm summer night. The five of us were starving and had great expectations. The muscles appetizer was delicious, the jalapeno poppers were not; tasted like they came from a freezer. I had the fish and chips, the fish was ok but the coating was gummy, the fries were stale, unacceptable. Someone had the steak sandwich that had the meat cut into little pieces, and I know why it needed to be pre-chewed, tough. The onion rings tasted like they were from the freezer also. The salads came from a bag, the mac and cheese was ok. You are paying for ambiance here, that's it. We were there on a Friday night and it wasn't busy, now we know why. It's too bad because it could be so much more.

Been a few times and is one of my preferred bars in town. The bar area is spacious and decorated appropriately. Very clean and warm feeling.

Food is decent and fairly standard. Portion size is fair as well. Never sat in the dining area, but it looks comfortable and pleasant.

Can't believe how outstanding the burgers are here!! Have been here twice and asked for medium and that's precisely how it came - with crispy steak fries and fresh, ripe tomato slices and crisp lettuce. Been meaning to try the other items on their menu, but can't get over the burgers! They also serve Shepherd's Pie, Bangers and Mash, etc. The wait staff is on top of their game, making sure you want for nothing and the owner stops to ask everyone if they were satisfied.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting with several screens in the bar area for sports. And music playing overhead, but not too loud that you can't have a conversation with the person next to you. Ample parking once you are up the driveway and there's outdoor seating in fair weather.

The price is most reasonable - great bang for the buck!

You can't miss with this winner!!
