Was assigned to this hotel as part of a Yale SOM event and was a little apprehensive about staying at a non-chain hotel. However, the reviews here are pretty spot on - it's centrally located (less than a mile walk to campus) as well as to many shops and restaurants.
The rooms are well kept and have enough space for 1-2 people comfortably. Surprisingly, even though the rooms are fairly close to one another in the corner areas (304) you can't hear them.
If you happen to have a car, they have a parking garage directly across the street and it can be reached via a bridge as well. The workout room isn't that large but has enough equipment and bike/running stations for a few ppl at a time.
People at the front desk were cordial at check-in and were very helpful in locating a place for me to buy a house warming gift for someone I was visiting in town.More
