This is a charming coffee shop that has an excellent, wide range of freshly prepared coffees, teas and other drinks (my girls love the white or milk hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows). The food is very good with exceptional sausage rolls, sandwiches and a range of home made cakes and pastries.
Downstairs is a traditional layout of tables and chairs, but the real joy is upstairs where an eclectic mix of sofas and armchairs creates a homely atmosphere where you can enjoy a coffee and cake whilst catching up on a book or chatting with friends (just mind your head on the low ceiling)
Well behaved dogs are allowed upstairs, which makes this a great pit stop for a dog walk round Ripley common

Cosy cafe full of character which is great place for tea and cakes. Sit upstairs on old sofas and enjoy the quirkiness of it.

My husband and I took friends to this amazing coffee house. It was full of character, and had large comfortable sofas. The cakes were delicious and there were a wide variety of coffee and alternative drinks. We also went with my two sons and daughter with their wives and husband. A truly exceptional treat. It was a little expensive but worth every penny and we will certainly go back again

Great choice of coffee, brewed traditionally with a good food menu to match, would recommend the homemade sausage rolls.
