The staff does not communicate well at all. I had to stay in Groton for a few weeks from a business trip (stuck here since COVID-19) and asked for folio/receipt of entire stay. Each week I asked for receipt and was assured I would receive at final check out. Well, after a few weeks, I checked out and because of my payment methods (even though the room was under my name), they refused to give the folio/receipt in order for me to submit my business expense report. WHY?!?!??
HEATER was cold air only (even after hard reset), faucet leaked and soaked floor, microvave from the 70's, cobwebs. Staff repaired faucet but insisted heater was working fine. Not sure how that conclusion was at all possible. I bought a small heater at walmart.
Cleaning services, while they did not speak English at all, were polite but murderous to obtain towels and toilet paper. They do not actually "clean" especially in light of COVID-19. Don't touch anything in lobby.
Walls are paper thin, so you hear doors slam, the drug deals and assaults/abuse next door! (NO LIE).
Only reprieve is that location is good. Stop&Shop, Walmart, gas, pizza/sub shop and park nearby as well as major and minor highways.
Laundry in basement (it's a scenario out of a horror movie, but they work!)
Weekly rate (direct from hotel) is much cheaper than daily rate posted on travel sites.
Free WIFI but horrible signal.
VERY large rooms (ie versus nearby Windsor or Flagship).
