Stayed here for 3 nights while sightseeing in the area. It is right up the street from the submarine base and just off the highway.
Staff was nice and the included breakfast was good they had some omelets along with waffle maker and eggs. The room was fine, I was in the back of the hotel so away from the road noise. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
This Hampton Inn was in a great location for our plans and had easy access to shopping close by. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good. All our expectations were met. We would stay here again.
We stayed here as a family and got two rooms. The rooms were quite nice and comfortable. Our only problem was that the rooms were supposed to be a joining. They did not honor our advance request for this.
Otherwise things went well and the typical decent hampton breakfast was received.
Good location close to the coast guard academy and close to mystic.

Not a good location. On this trip we stayed at 5 Hampton Inns and this one was easily the worst.
At breakfast there was only one waffle maker, one waffle flavor, no bananas, no orange juice, constantly running out of things and not replacing them. Pool was frigid. Loudest elevators. Water dispenser in gym not working. Lots of water damage on 4th floor that was painted over instead of fixed. Everywhere we looked there was something amiss or done as cheaply as possible.
