We stopped at Cornwall Country Market for breakfast after staying at Hitching Post Motel right next door as there weren't a lot of breakfast options in the area. Due to low staffing, they only had a few breakfast sandwiches available, but both my wife and I found something we liked. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was really good. It's a cute little general store and we grabbed some drinks and snacks to go with our sandwiches. Overall, a real nice place and would recommend for breakfast if in the area.

We visit the Cornwall Country Market on Connecticut Route 7 a few times each year and are always glad to stop for a quick lunch. Their delicatessen counter makes to order the best sandwiches, and their salads are home made (try the German potato salad). Sandwiches are thick and tasty- no generic packaged food here as far as we could see. (what else can I say, other then excellent?).

Had lunch in their small dinning area a turkey sandwich which was fantastic. The people are very friendly. They have plenty of drinks and many options to have other items. Suggest you stop by eat and say hi

Go there often to get a sandwich and they are always delicious. Service is friendly and quick. I also occasionally buy groceries and it's great to have the market in our remote corner of Connecticut!
