Having been to the Wine Mine several times in past years, we were again delighted with our two visits recently (we liked it so much, went twice in the same weekend!)
The first visit was for late lunch on Friday of Labor Day weekend. For some reason, everyone decided to come in at one time, and the little Wine Mine was completely overwhelmed with customers. Lori, the proprietor, called in reinforcements from the realty company across the street and apologized several times for the wait on our food. Madison, our server, was super sweet and also thanked us for being so patient.
The food was worth the wait. My husband had ordered the specialty flatbread, fig with prosciutto and brie ... super yummy. I ordered the small plate of various dips served with warm squares of flatbread ... also super delicious.
We went the next day and were warmly welcomed back. This time, we simply split a larger order of the tapas - the spinach & artichoke dip and the jalapeno artichoke dip are delicious. Also loved the hummus and assorted olives.
We noticed the Wine Mine is for sale and hope if sold, the next owner will continue the excellent service, wine and food.
Thanks for two wonderful meals!
