Top to bottom this is a great destination. Every level of their staff from booking to valet and front desk is extremely friendly and helpful. The bar frost has a wide selection and Leonora has some deliciousfood including shrimp and grits, in the mountains!!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Sebastian in Vail over Memorial Day weekend. The staff was very welcoming and had great activities set up for the guests. They are pet friendly and had dog beds and treats ready for our dog. They are also a veteran friendly establishment and took the time to honor those who have fallen fighting for our country. The restaurant is (Lenora) excellent as is the bar (Frost). I look forward to going back again soon.

This was our first stay in Vail! Wow! The Sebastian was awesome. From checking to a phenomenal meal at Lenora! The rooms are clean, the amenities are unbelievable and service impeccable! We have stayed in hotels all over the world and this place is fantastic! Individual treatment was the rule of our stay. The staff was not only pleasant, they were genuinely interested in us! In the service industry it seems it varies from hotel to hotel quite widely and even some services within the same hotel. But at the Sebastian, it was even, genuine and wonderful! We cannot wait to stay here again!

I can't wait to stay ay The Sebastian again. I have never slept better in a hotel room. 5 star luxury but not stuffy. The staff was so nice and accommodating. They gave you free snacks in the room which I've never seen at a hotel of this caliber. The conference space was beautiful and not cramped. The food was pretty great for conference food and they accommodated my dietary restrictions with courtesy. I will be back for pleasure. I can't say that for nearby properties. Plus, thank you for the much-needed humidifier. Thank you all, especially Brandon and Taurus (sp?). I had a wonderful time.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. There was plenty that could have made this work trip a bummer...it’s was pouring rain, late night check in, travel issues and a lost wallet. But the staff was fantastic and making me feel totally comfortable. Hotel is too big to considered “boutique” but there’s a very homey feel. Lobby welcoming and at not point during the stay was I not able to find an oversized chair and couch to plop down on to wait for colleagues and in fact we met more than one right there. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Valet was a little awkward... you pull straight into the doors so you feel like your in the wrong place. And there weren’t the usual team of staff so I was a little unsure. Ultimately it was fine.
The hotel also accommodated a number of random requests on the fly; room near the elevator, distilled humidifier water, extra flat sheet. Having stayed in Vail/Aspen/Beaver Creek for several of these work trips the rooms were fairly standard which was a good thing. Bathroom slightly smaller than others in the area but still spacious and comfortable. Beds were high and comfy. TV a good size for the room (sounds odd but often in the mountain resorts the TVs aren’t a focus and so very small). There was a round table/desk which was fine but not a real “office space”. There is no mini bar but nightly water and sweets were dropped at turn down service.
We didn’t get to eat at the restaurant, but heard from several colleagues that it was great. The hotels location within the village yielded lots of restaurant options all within short walking distance. German spot was great as was the bakery/deli just outside the hotel for breakfast. And for those like me who would rather just stock up on staples there’s a Walmart and City Market a short drive away.
In all a great option if you are staying in Vail. If there was any draw back at all it was that the property was not a true ski in/out.
