Dec 2015 I had walked past the restaurant section of the Tevan hotel just off Watboonkanjanram Rd on a number of occasion and noticed there was never anyone seated. I just thought it was my timing. I was intrigued to try there food as they have a brick built pizza oven displayed outside and there menu for pizzas looked good. However when I entered there restaurant for dinner I ordered the Veg Pizza and set menu with rice soup and chicken. The 8" pizza the base had been burnt to bits and lacked taste. The so called tomatoe paste or sauce they had used for the pizza was watered done and completely tasteless. The brick built oven outside is a marketing ploy to attract people in as my pizza had the crust burnt to bits in a standard kitchen oven. The set menu the soup was OK but the chicken was tough and hard to eat and was obviously left overs from the previous day/s. Overall opinion total waste of money and poor quality, tasteless crap food.

This hotel is quite new and in good management, the room, beds, towels are clean and high quality, nice interior decor. There are not many choices for your buffet breakfast but the food is acceptable if you are not serious about this. A little swimming pool at the entrance of the hotel may relax you whenever you passby. the food served by restaurant is affordable and good enough, try TomYum Kung there ! at night time, you may walk to a small thai restaurant opposite, where the owner is always nice with smile and ready to serve you till 2 pm , food is not over charged here.
Pro: clean and spacious rooms
Cons: maybe over 1 km from Jomtien beach
Generally: good value of money, suitalbe for family and short stays

This was a typical 3* hotel. We were comfortable, but one of our rooms (445) had no window, and was more like staying in a storage cupboard. No natural light is not a good feature, and when we stated our displeasure, we were told to take it or leave it. As we had already paid, we had little option but to take it. However, if we had known in advance, we would not have booked.

Maybe they should consider replacing the wooden balcony doors with glass doors.

Room tip: There are several rooms without ant natural light situated next to the lift shaft. Unless you are a vampire, avoid.
