Our room was disgusting. We had to kill a cockroach, there was a medical IV bag hanging in the window they claimed the room was just cleaned and clearly wasn't. They put us right next to the "breakfast room" we could hear everything. We complained to the staff from the second we stepped foot in the room that it was dirty and asked for a different room. They told us nothing else was available until we had to kill the cockroach in our room. They gave us a different room which still wasn't that much better. The bed was supposed to be king pretty sure it was a queen and it was falling apart. The bed springs were sinking to the floor the vent ac/heat unit only worked half the time. The staff was disrespectful to us including the owner was EXTREMELY rude. The only good thing about the breakfast was the waffles their "omelets " if that's what you want to call it were just tiny little microwavable dried out eggs. Don't waste your time staying here for beach access. You can stay anywhere else in saint augustine and have free public beach access. You don't need this nasty rude staffed place.

This place was disgusting. Totally doesn’t look like the pictures on Hotel tonight. Roaches, dead and alive, all in the room. Holes all in the sheets and blankets. They put us RIGHT next to the lobby, which was very loud at 5am. They turned off the WIFI also at that time. Even though we technically have the room til 11am. I guess they change the passwords everyday. The lobby was not as cute as it was shown in the photos. The beds are so uncomfortable. I could go on about how much this place sucked. Never again.

My husband and I were driving from Iowa to Fort Lauderdale to take a cruise to the Panama Canal. We were in the St Augustine area when we decided to stop for the night. We chose this gem based on its location right across the road from the ocean, and online reviews. We were so glad we did! Our room was on the ocean side of the hotel and we could hear the waves crashing all night with the sliding glass door cracked open. The room was very clean and cute and very reasonably priced. Any of the staff we encountered were very friendly. We highly recommend this hotel!

I booked this blindly, to spend a few days in St. Augustine. What a cute little place far enough from the busy areas, but literally have to cross the street to the beach. I loved that you were just steps away from the beach and we even walked over after tide came in since it is 24 hour access. They even offer usage of their chairs and beach umbrellas. I would recommend if you want to unwind in quieter place. Beautiful, clean, and friendly staff!

Had a great vacation experience in St Augustine including the 4 nights at the Ocean Sands Beach Inn. The first floor room on the pool side allowed quick access to our car from the sliding glass doors of our room. The room, dining area, pool, and hotel in general was clean and nice. All front desk people were friendly and eager to help. I specifically appreciated Lisa who was there in the morning preparing our breakfast (eggs, fresh waffles, and more) and caring for everyone's needs in the dining area. I loved that I could sit outside and eat while experiencing the sunrise over the ocean.

The ocean access across the highway is very nice and it was great that you could borrow beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and buckets and shovels for the little ones.
