Anytime the boy sees "Boar's Head" advertised outside a deli, it is a given that we will go there. Low and behold, stopped while leaving Ouray around 11am. I had the gyro, he had the Reuben. So delicious!!
It's rare that I ever get a gyro with enough tzatziki sauce - and this was spot on. Exactly the right amount of sauce, with a perfectly prepared pita, lamb, lettuce, onion, tomato, and cucumber.
The boy's Reuben (sans sauerkraut) was delicious. Oh, the buttery bread melting with the Russian dressing into the pastrami....mmmmm.
It was hard to not eat either sandwich too fast. The guy behind the counter was super knowledgeable and friendly. Great visit, already craving it again!
