I had an extended stay lasting a little over a month at the Bunkhouse while I was a part-time ski instructor at Vail. The friendly staff and owners were actively involved and fostered a welcoming atmosphere for all the guests, and went out of their way to meet the needs of their guests. The private bunks are quite nice and allow you to get some peaceful sleep or alone time. I made many friends during my stay with the staff and guests and would highly recommend the Bunkhouse to anyone looking for affordable housing near Vail, Beavercreek or just passing through. Thank you, for the great experience and I certainly plan to return soon!

Room Tip: Bottom bunks have easy access

The Bunkhouse offers a cool unique and social way to enjoy the mountains.
It is clean, stylish and perfect for solo travelers or groups looking to have an extended stay and make new friends.
Minturn is Quaint Mountain town that boasts tons of character. Nancy the owner was super friendly and provided excellent care to me as a guest.

We stayed only for one night and could not take advantage of the kitchen and other facilities, but everything was very clean and organized. The bunk beds are fantastic and give you the privacy very seldom afforded in regular mass accommodation.

Stayed with The Bunkhouse for a long weekend in early March. Every detail of this place makes for a great stay. It's super clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and accommodating. The staff is so nice and really cares to ensure you enjoy your stay and get the most out of the area. I stayed in the built-in wall bunks and was one happy camper. The bunks are cozy and equipped with the right amount of space, a light and charger station. The bunks are surprisingly super private and quiet. If you chose to be social, the common spaces are great and comfortable. The restrooms and showers are immaculate and smell like a field of flowers. The kitchen has tons of equipment and anything you may need to cook or eat with. It's all tastefully decorated and makes you feel at home. They keep the temperature perfectly regulated. The linens are sooo fresh and soft. There is also space to safely store your mountain wear. All in all, this place goes above and beyond to accommodate any traveler. They really hone in on all the details that make for a very comfortable and convenient stay. The location is also great, as Minturn is the sweetest, little town with the right amount of things going on. It seems to be centrally located and accessible for all things in the Vail area. Totally loved my stay here.

Comfortable bunks, key for a good night's rest after a long day in the mountain. Employees enjoy their work and you can tell. The location is great too, in between Vail and Beaver Creek. Minturn is underrated.
