Hotel Eastin is a great place to stay. The owners are awesome and very informative regarding the history of Kremmling. We were home the minute we walked in the door. If you're looking for something different, this place has a price range and a room with a story for everyone. It's truely something you dont want to pass by and not stop in, when you do, you wont want to stay anywhere else. We stayed in the Denver Room, each room is unique and beautiful. Can't say enough about this place, you just have to stop in and check it out for yourself. You will love it.

Thank You for the review of our Hotel. We try to answer all questions about our Hotel and the History Of Grand County. We keep our prices affordable for all to enjoy the Hotel and get the feel of the Old West. Walt worked hard on the John Denver Room glad you liked it. Hope to see you again.

Found this place via TripAdvisor and couldn't beat the price. Didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised.
Loved the decor and the history behind the place -- like a step back in time to the old boardinghouse days -- after all it was built in he early 1900's!
Enjoyed the fact that every unoccupied room was open for fun viewing of the decor. The western wing was absolutely beautiful, but then again all the rooms were!
It seems though that we booked the only room that didn't have it's own bathroom! We shared a bathroom with the guests next door which was a tad bit uncomfortable since we didn't know them! Being an old building with thin walls also didn't lend much privacy in using that bathroom -- we heard all their business! So we opted to use the bathroom down the hall! Like I said though, it seemed every other room had it's own bathroom and if you knew the people next door in this room, it probably wouldn't be an issue!
This place would be a fun place for a family reunion or a couples weekend away! It is NOT however very handicapped accessible as you must walk up a couple of stairs to get in and then more stairs to get to the floor with the rooms! They do offer free popcorn, and coffee, tea, cocoa etc all day and cookies on Friday night!
The owner was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay! She also filled us in on the history of the place at checkin!
Overall a great place as long as you know what you're getting into! Don't expect a "regular" hotel -- unless you're expecting an early 1900's one with modern conveniences!!

The Hotel Eastin in Kremmling Colorado was a blessing to find on a rainy and cold holiday weekend. I got rained out of my campground and Maryann woke up to answer the phone very late at night. The $45 room that was remaining was great; well lit, very clean, nice bed, cable TV, high speed Wi-Fi, sink & toilet...clean shower room with good water pressure only couple doors down the hall.
I recommend this rustic and very friendly hotel to anyone traveling thru North Central CO. Walt and Maryann are the most hospitable hosts I have met including much international travel. To top it off, I received a 10% Off coupon to The Moose Cafe across the street for a great breakfast.

The couple that runs this hotel is so sweet, and really care that you have a great stay. The rooms are cozy and each individually decorated to fit a theme. It was clean and comfortable--I would definitely stay here again!

As return visitors for 3 years, we love coming back to the welcoming comforts of Hotel Eastin! Owners Maryann and Walt are lovingly restoring this historic hotel and, on this visit, we found new comfy lobby furniture perfect for relaxing and sharing stories; a beautiful patio/walkway by the hot tub; and the newly opened John Denver themed room. Always find the place "spic and span" and the beds comfy!

Room Tip: Share your preferences with Maryann/Walt and they'll fix you up!
