We were on a motorcycle trip and made the reservations several months prior. It was very clean. There was a ceiling fan in the room-which I like!! It had a microwave, small refrigerator and best of all-coffee in the room. It did not offer breakfast-which was a bummer.

This was a good last minute place to stay with a convenient location. Room was clean and quiet. Rate was reasonable and receptionist friendly. Easy access in and out of town before driving through Rocky Mountain park.

We stayed in Grand Lake for just one night before exploring Rocky Mountain NP. We were glad we decided to make a stop in Grand Lake. The town is beautiful. The lakes are beautiful the scenery, breathtaking. The hotel is quiet, room was nice, but no breakfast offered. It was a good stop for one night.

The room was nice, very clean, and has a small fridge and microwave. Note that they do not have any breakfast at all, just coffee or tea in the lobby. We used the hot tub which was also very clean and they have plenty of towels available in the hot tub room. It's a short walk into the middle of town which is about a half mile long. RMNP is only about 5 miles away. I also liked that no one bothered us about getting all the ice we needed for our small cooler every day. The room had 2 queen beds, not huge but adequate. We would stay there again.

The Bighorn has comfortable beds and quiet rooms (with the windows closed). If you are looking someplace that is comfortable, clean, free internet, and you plan day trips around the area, the Bighorn is fine. Shops and restaurants are right down the street There isn't any room though for much lounging outside of the room. Always call before booking - they might have the better price than online services.
