This was a great hotel for the price paid! Many Econolodges are older properties. This Econolodge seemed very new, clean, and updated. The beds were very comfortable, and the room very quiet. The air conditioning worked wonderfully on a very hot day in July. By far the best Econolodge we have stayed at! For the location, price, and friendly staff, we highly recommend this hotel if staying in the area.

We had a clean, comfortable room with king-sized bed for less than $70. What a great deal! There are several restaurants and a great cafe within walking distance. The location is incredibly convenient and the staff were very friendly.

Easy access to this Econo Lodge not far from I-70. Facility appears to be fairly new and the rate was quite reasonable. I liked the bare room floor which was an unusual but nice touch in a newer place. However, walls were thin and I had the misfortune of getting a room adjacent to one with a noisy group until very late at night, and a not-too-soundproof door in between. With the motel not close to full, this was poor planning by the staff. A.C. was efficient but loud, and I did not care for the bathroom arrangement but otherwise the room and bed were acceptable. Breakfast was better than average.

Room tip: Quieter rooms will be facing away from the interstate.

A safe, clean, quiet, friendly, excellent-Econo-breakfast & convenient-by-Interstate-exit suburban Grand Junction Econo Lodge.

True to the award banner displayed at this property, this Econo Lodge impressed me in several ways.

Both the check-in and check-out receptionists were friendly: they were mature and kind local men who represented the local culture.

The property is quite new, with clean shiny wooden floors. My room had a firm bed with clean bedding, clean towels, clean bathroom, a clean microwave, and a clean mini-fridge.

Wi Fi signal was strong and ice machine was in good working order.

Most impressive had to be the large array of breakfast items that included even boiled eggs—a “luxury” item not normally served at Econo properties. These eggs, along with the usual yogurt, pastries, and cereal were tirelessly replenished by cheery staff members in a bright, airy, spacious, special-purpose eating area adjacent to the lobby.

The hotel is located in a newly-developed business cluster among several other hotels, gas stations, and eateries at the convenient exit off I-70 for the city's airport, with a Safeway supermarket just a couple of minutes to the south.

Its rates are competitive, making it a pleasant and economical base for day-drives to national parks and monuments nearby.

Arrived the hotel lobby and it was clean, cool and modern. Check-in was quick and was given a room on the 2nd floor, the hotel has no elevator but it wasn't a problem to climb the stair. There were some ice water with oranges in the lobby that taste great.

The room is very nicely décor, spacious, comfortable and clean. Our room is situated in the wing away from the highway so it was very quiet. The room equipped with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and chairs & table. The free internet was great speed. The location was great and close to many fast food restaurants.

The next morning, we went for the breakfast, the area was tiny with limited food selection (bagels, bread, cereals, not even waffles :( ). It was OK, but 5 minutes before the breakfast time is over, the staff already cleaning and stacking the other chairs above the tables while we're still eating, we felt like rushed to leave the area so at 10am, we grabbed our half eaten food with us and continue in our room.

Overall, it was a great experience for the price we paid for the room, the overall ambience. The breakfast experience lowered the stay from an "excellent" to a "good".

Room tip: away from the highway wing
