Went here on a whim and it was amazing! The atmosphere was upbeat and trendy with great service. The staff seemed to be genuinely excited and passionate about the food. The bonsai oysters were delicious!!! I had the lobster tacos and my husband had the halibut. We split both dishes and couldn't have been happier. We will definitely be back to try the sushi.

We're always on the lookout for new places opening in FOCO. Son's GF suggested this place and we were excited in the different offerings on the menu we saw on-line. We arrived around 6 PM on a very quiet night. I think there might have been only another 4 or 5 tables occupied. We tried a couple of craft beers, none of which particularly thrilled us. One of our party had some of their mixed drinks which she liked. I'd stick with domestic name brand next time.

The menu tries to hit all the bases, seafood, BBQ, burgers, etc. We shared a Calamari appetizer while we decided. Wife and son had the lobster mac and cheese, which they claimed was excellent. GF had fish and chips and I did two appetizers as an entree. I had the lobster tacos and the bonsai oysters. Both were really good, but the star of the dish was the creamy cilantro lime rice side. Just like the best risotto I have ever eaten.

Our server was excellent, letting us try samples of the beers to find one we liked.

We would definitely return.

I'm partial to stand alone local restaurants, so we were pleasantly surprised with Smokin Fins. The service was excellent, and the food was plentiful and tasty. The Tokyo salad was beautiful and delicious. The lobster tater tots were interesting and tasty. We'll come back for sure. Glad to see another seafood restaurant in FoCo.

Fist time here. Great variety on the menu. I had the smokin Mac and cheese. It was awesome. Excellent service. Both my friends were very happy with their meals

My wife and I wanted to try the recently opened Smokin Fins restaurant in the Foothills Mall. Since we were thinking about seafood, this seemed like a good place for a mid-week lunch. Inside seating– with tables, booths and a bar - and patio seating are available. We took a booth inside, where the setting is comfortable and attractive. The menu has interesting choices of fresh seafood sushi and smoked meats. My wife was ready for fish tacos, so the Mahi Mahi Taco plate was just right for her. There was plenty of well-prepared fish in tasty tortillas. I had the Lemon Caper Alaskan Halibut plate. I thought this was truly special. The fish, sauce and trimmings made a richly flavored meal. The service was good too. We enjoyed chatting with our waiter and the enthusiastic manager. We look forward to eating here again.
