David and Shirley considered every detail when they created this extraordinary B&B. From the very spiritual location to the secluded privacy to the views as you lie in bed at night and awake in the morning. The facilities are awesome, the staff is friendly and the breakfasts were delicious.
Thank you David and Shirley for creating such a magical space for us to stay during our 30th wedding anniversary.

From the beautiful gardens, excellent casita we stayed in, to the delicious breakfasts and most importantly, the outstanding service by all, we could not have picked a better place for our 10 year wedding anniversary - would recommend to all!!

The memory of Blue Lake Ranch lingered in our minds from our visit 15 years ago, so we decided it was time to revisit this magical place. Our original visit had placed us in The River House - serene, surrounded by marmots and other wild life, cows resting in the pasture, and many other simple pleasures. We requested the same house but we were upgraded to The Lower Spring House, an amazing place!! It was completely private, our own pond, a view of snow-capped mountains and deer seen from an expanse of windows. This is by far the most beautiful and comfortable place we have ever stayed. The staff and owner were also very friendly, helpful and entertaining.

When my sister and I stayed 3 nights at BLR in the Sunrise Casita, we were surprised with how private and comfortable our accommodations were. The bathroom was massive and the decor was very good. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (they suggested and booked dinner for us at a local restaurant, the Kennebac Cafe-food was great!) We were also impressed by the buffet breakfasts provided each morning, and the variety of the food. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Great place to stay if you are visiting Mesa Verde and Durango/Silverton.
