We just tent camped. The service is impeccable. The site was clean and neat. The staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. It was nice to have a lounge area and the showers were tidy and convenient.
Thank you for taking a moment to write a review.
We're pleased to know that you enjoyed your time tent camping along the Dolores River.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!

We stayed here for several days. The people, the setting and the facility are all first rate. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of water running, geese and ducks quacking and the beautiful scenery all around was superb. The owners are wonderful, making you feel like old friends. The folks working there seem to truly enjoy the setting, atmosphere and what they are doing to make guests feel welcome. Get a site by the water if it's available, and enjoy your stay.
Beautiful environment, friendly staff, however the wifi was marginal. We very much enjoyed our stay. The sights in the surrounding area were beautiful. We definitely plan to come back, and hope we can bring our kids and grandkids.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay here at the DRC!
I'm sorry to hear about the wifi troubles, it should have been more than adequate. Next time, come into the office and I can help you troubleshoot!
Thanks again, we look forward to hosting you in the future!

Dolores River Campground is in a perfect location from which to explore the ruins around Delores and Cortez. It's location just north Of Delores is a huge plus. Our stay was very relaxing and the friendliness of the young couple that own this campground will make us comeback. We stayed 3 nights and what a great place to come home to each evening after exploring all day.
Thank you for staying with us, and for submitting a review.
We're happy to know that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to hosting you again!

We stayed at this amazing campground for 3 weeks the middle of August 2015 until after Labor Day. We love Dolores River Campground and is one of our favorites in Colorado. It sits on the banks of the Dolores River which is a plus for us. Full hookups and sites are level with concrete patio area. Big rig friendly. Cable tv is adequate. Wi-Fi is good for the mountains of Colorado. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. There are several cabins for rent on the property and tent camping areas near the river. Within the office area there is a small store/gift shop for essentials you may need, including RV supplies. Cute little vintage trailer on site where you can get coffee and breakfast items. Yummy breakfast burritos. The owners go above and beyond to accommodate guests and are the nicest couple. They have owned the park for about 5 years. When we arrived, they told us about pizza on Wednesday nights (brick oven, made to order, personal pan pizzas), Saturday afternoon ice cream sundaes, and the campground would be having a pig roast on Labor Day weekend. A lot of people have been coming for several years in the summer. It’s a very friendly atmosphere. Relax by the river, where you can sit and listen to the sounds of the river, fish, tube, or wade in the water. Within the campsite area there is a large pond for the kids to fish. Some sites back up to the pond. There are extensive mountain bike trails within the Dolores area. Even though Dolores is a small town, it has more than adequate amenities you’ll need or you can travel to Cortez for more shopping which is just a few miles from Dolores. We will return to camp here again. We camped in a 38 ft. fifth wheel.
