“Part of the pack”
Reviewed 3 June 2012

We made reservations for the CWWC well in advance and had a wonderful time there! We got the VIP Tour which included a tour of the facility where we saw all the wolves, foxes and coyotes. After the tour we got to go into two separate wolf enclosures and have pictures taken. The wolves were super friendly and loved being petted and gave lots of kisses. The tours are very reasonably priced and the people that work there are great. This was well worth the 3 hour drive from Estes Park and I would highly recommend it to anyone that loves wildlife. Their website is http://wolfeducation.org.

“A warm welcome to their pack!”
Reviewed 24 May 2012

My husband and I have enjoyed visiting a wolf sanctuary in Pennsylvania and when we decided to take a trip to see the Little Bighorn Battlefield, Devil's Tower and Mount Rushmore, I discovered the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center in Divide Colorado. It is about two hours south of Denver.
We were greeted by the friendly staff and took a leisurely tour around the property meeting the beautiful red foxes and the various wolves kept mostly in pairs. After the tour, we had registered for the VIP tour which brought us and another couple in an enclosure with three of the staff. We took turns sitting with Tala and Na'vi, a female and male wolf who gently nudged us for the pieces of hot dog we held in our fists and gave us loving kisses. Mary, a staff member took many incredible pictures of us. When we were done, we entered another enclosure and were welcomed by Micah into his pack. Keara kept her distance; she was a bit shy but Micah gave all four of us visitors a warm welcome to his pack. He was like a big lovable teddy bear enjoying all the attention.
The myths about wolves are proven to be myths by visiting this wonderful place. Darlene, Jan, Jonathan, Mary and the very nice lady in the office were extraordinary hosts. We will definitely return to visit in the future.

Reviewed 21 May 2012

went to this wildlife center and was amazed at how well the tour was handled as well as the wolves. went into one of the wolf pens and had a photo shoot with 2 of them, 1 female, 1 male. we were kissed and licked, and rubbed by both of them. they loved being touched and returned it back. great great feeling. if you are in the denver area, i recommend this attraction a must see. 2hrs from denver tops.

“What an adventure!”
Reviewed 4 April 2012

Friends visiting from England wanted to visit the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center as they had visited it at their old location . . . this location is relatively new. You need to make reservations for the tour, which is extremely well priced. The CWWC tour is very educational and is located in a beautiful mountain setting. They have about 18 wolves on site divided into a number of fenced areas each a bit over an acre in size, generally a male and female to an area. Volunteer staff take you through the complex providing excellent detailed information about each different type of wolf. Other wildlife such as Arctic Fox and Coyote are also on site.

If you go, be SURE to reserve the photo option package. Staff will take your family, or group, into an area with two socialized wolves that interact with you . . . "Wolf Kisses" are plentiful! Staff will take many photos of your interaction with the wolves and provide you with a disk of the photos. The photos were excellent quality and not a 'bad' photo in the bunch. They provided us with 74 photos, so quantity is not a problem! Cannot recommend this optional service enough. Easy to find, just be sure to follow the directions on their website.

CWWC is a non-profit organization that truly cares for the animals in their care and well deserving of an "Excellent" rating!
