Our stay at the Brown Palace was perfect in every way . I felt like I was in a fine European hotel minus the pretentiousness. The hotel has so much charm . I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else .

I stayed at the Brown Palace for one night and was not pleased with a few things about the room. Before putting up a negative comment, I decided to speak to the manager I'm glad I did. He was very professional in listening to my complaints and compensated me for the inconvenience. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The lobby area is beautiful and elegant. I would have liked a bathtub to soak in the artesian well water, but the rain shower was a nice alternative.

What a terrific place for us to spend our anniversary! From beginning to end, our celebration was spectacular, largely because of the service at this Denver landmark. It's quite an expensive splurge, but the Brown Palace often runs specials, so take advantage when you find them. Our room was lovely, with an especially comfortable bed and spectacularly appointed bathroom. With such a rich history, this hotel is interesting to explore and there is plenty of historical information available on site to guide you.

Afternoon tea is something the Palace is known for and you should definitely enjoy the treat. It's usually quite busy on weekends since locals, including us, love to bring visiting family and friends for a relaxing, special afternoon at the Brown Palace where the service and ambience are second to none.

The personal service here is excellent. Very pretty lobby, all original since its opening in 1892, except for the grand fireplace that was removed to make way for the spa entrance. All employees were super friendly and helpful. The tea is very nice and a fun little splurge. Its a very busy hotel for the tea, restaurants, and as a reception location. Locals obviously regard it highly. The rooms are nice, don't go expecting a four seasons room with its 4 diamond rating. The hotel is 130 years old. Beds were moderately comfortable, no in room fridge, our closet was huge for a hotel. Overall very nice stay, walking to 16th street mall with shopping and restaurants.

Booked Mother's Day Brunch 3 months ago for May 2012. The Brown Palace called us to inform us it now had to move us to an overflow room on the second floor. We explained that we had booked the brunch weeks ago and been assured we would be in The Ellington Restaurant, which also has the live jazz music. Their response was that they were sorry but that is now the best they could do unless we were willing to come in after 2:00. This is not the first time The Brown Palace has chosen profit over service. This will be the last time we book anything at The Brown Palace. Shame on them.

Room Tip: The new Four Seasons is lovely.

The Mother’s Day Brunch is a hotel wide event featuring live entertainment in three separate venues accompanied by an elaborate culinary experience and fantastic service.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Mother’s day Brunch at the Brown Palace is a very popular event and I am wretched that we did not understand your preference when the initial reservation was made. I strongly believe that I can be of assistance and personally cater to you, your mother and family.

Please contact me, at your convenience tgutmann@brownpalace.com,
